Not disagreeing, but the first two seasons up there were nailbiters. The Rioch era was proper build up days with very good players being joined by others & a steady climb. It does have that potential. Trouble is, & these are easy words to say, I don’t like the Premiership & have little desire to go for it.

Loved CB-T, but he was a mostly unplayed reserve at Derby. So a middling club in our new division weren’t using him. I do like him, but care must be taken on what in needed in the second division.

Right. This is a note, not a suggestion, but may advise the standard we're entering. Dapo signed for Blackburn in the January window. He's presumably a better version than the one we sold. In the last 9 games he was on the bench and was only brought on twice (61st & 76th minutes). He scored no goals & made no assists in the few games he appeared. I know the Devil's in the detail and any number of other issues could be involved but I'd have given Zulu's right arm to have him back here.

Having injured loan players thete is evidence of very good team spirit. I'd not realised Forss & CB-T were there too. We have to be front-runners for ACD & Kenny remaining. Better standard league attracts better standard players. It'll be an interesting closed season.

I had an operation on Tuesday & 'ave an 'ole in mi 'ead so couldn't be there. I went out of the room at 2-1, to alleviate the tension ... & Mrs. Feelgood shouted "goal". I assumed it was against us !! Nice to find it wasn't. I'm claiming the assist for that !
