I guess you're right, of course, because it's Reform, the ones that aren't being run well are always highlighted in the press, as a way of attempting to discredit them I agree, local councils would probably be much better, if they weren't run on political grounds - I don't know, or indeed care, who runs my local council, I've never voted in local elections, and we don't even have local elections here this May, for some reason

I agree, nobody gives a fuck about them usually - but the narrative/hype around these is very different - and Reform and Greens will make huge noise about taking over councils As @Traf says, too much success could be to their detriment, if they make a pigs ear of running these councils, as we all know Reform are, at present

Donald Dead Cat On Is Head Trump
If Trump stood at his podium and said that, many would believe it.

Indeed, he has a 21% share holding in a company called Global Council, and their largest client is WuXi AppTec, to the tune of around £2.5M WuXi paid £1.42M to Global Council just as Mandleson was appointed Ambassador. It may well amount to nothing, but it doesn't look good.....and I'm surprised the US didn't kick up a fuss, as I'm sure they'd have done some "research" on Mandleson as well

I don't think that message is wrong to be honest - we're now entering an era of multi party parliament, like they have in other countries. It'll be interesting to see what (if any) alliances are formed moving forward. No doubt, some seats will go uncontested, so as not to split the votes - and I suspect that Reform will be the target of everybody. Apparently though, Rupert Lowe is attracting quite a few members, from folk who think Reform are going a bit soft, so maybe Restore will be in the mix as well

Donald Dead Cat On Is Head Trump
He's apparently what the world needed, I'm still not sure why, and I'm sure it can be explained, but he's what the world needed I think Cheese often says it, but love of Trump is a pure cult, and it's getting worse. He can fuck kids or kill them in unnecessary wars, his supporters still love him regardless, as long as George Clooney is upset (and I'm never sure why ensuring Clooney is upset is such a good thing either)

I thought you were all for "democracy" - she was voted in by her constituency, so surely she should be allowed to stay until they decide otherwise? For what it's worth, she was only showboating, she knew what would happen after Anderson had been turfed out, purely to give her and her shit party even the tiniest bit of publicity.

I said the other day, rightly or wrongly, this will do for Starmer. A bad night in these upcoming local elections in a couple of weeks, and I suspect the knives will be out, and Raynor and Streeting will be leading the charge to replace him. Who would have thought that Starmer would be taken down by the Epstein files

I think most wanted the Iranian regime gone, hopefully Trump will move onto the regime in Israel next - take both sets of horrible cunts out at the same time. I suspect the point that some think you're missing is just down to interpretation of how things are going. To many, it looks like the US and Israel have gone steaming in, without too much of a plan, and certainly no idea of how to exit the situation. I know you think it's all part of an amazing master plan, and patience is needed (as you said the other day) - but each day that passes, it seems to turn into more of a shitshow. I don't doubt that Trump will lose patience at some point and unleash all manner of hell on Iran and take out their power stations and vital infrastructure. Whilst you'll celebrate that, many will not, and I guess that could constitute a war crime (I don't know if it is, and I really don't care that much either way to be honest) I have no doubt that he wishes he'd not listened to Netanyahu and started this fracas

That must be close on 90Km/100Km that crossing, I bet that's fun in a dinghy Although, if the people traffickers are changing tactics, it must be working what we're doing in France 😉 As I've said before, they'll never, ever be stopped, until we start making life very difficult for them when they arrive here, and successive Governments have shown there is zero appetite for that.
