Pillock

A bloke in a transit van reversed into my car today just as I was coming down the street, I saw what he did and tried to flag him down, he accelerated and swerved past me and sped off. I got his registration, a neighbour has given me cctv video of the incident and to cap it all he had delivered goods to my house so I have all of his details (he rang my missus half an hour before the delivery to say he was on his way) and the company he works for who are now conducting an investigation, report to the insurance and police done, he even signed the delivery sheet as 'signed by customer'

Well done on getting it sorted so quickly.

What a twat he is- and signing on your behalf is fraudulent isn't it?

It is fraud but as it was only a few hundred quids worth of rolls of fleece I don't suppose the cops will bother

Absolute ballbag.

I had a taxi driver drive his mini bus in to the side of my van during the night as it was parked outside on the road. He fucked off.

I didnt even notice till the following afternoon as it was Sunday. Went out to sort my stuff out for Monday and all side was caved in.

A neighbour heard it and his ring cam picked him driving in to the street. I rang his taxi firm and they denied all knowledge. Then miraculously 30 mins later the cabbie rang me and said he was going to come and tell me. Bullshit.

Turns out he had passengers and was more than likely over the limit so thats why he fucked off.

His van was a write off as it had a wheelchair lift. It cost his insurance £250 per day for my specialist window cleaning van replacement....for 2 months while mine was fixed. His passangers put claims in too.

Silly cunt.

His employer might be interested though!

This happened to me last week

My car parked outside my house and a transit van hit it and drove off.Luckily my neighbour saw it and got the reg So I reported it to my insurance and they told me to report it to the police which I have.Today the owner of the van has been round asking me to stop the claim and retract the report to the police and he will pay for the repair but I'm being told if I do this my insurance may charge me for time spent on it and even if I retract my police statement would they not continue with it anyway?

The bloke who reversed into me his manager rang me asking if he could come round and pay for the damage as 'none of us want higher insurance premiums', I told him it is going through the insurance because it looks like the chassis is dented a bit, anyway he can fuck off for nearly running me over and not returning my calls

The bloke who came round mine also said his son was driving it with no insurance so he will get 6 points automatically

He's only come round because he got a letter from the police otherwise I think he would try to deny it even though I've got a witness and there's know way I'm incurring any cost through cancelling the claim

Same happened to me a few years ago. Got hit from behind and damaged my rear bumper. The guy said he’d get me a new bumper and had a mate at a body shop who’d respray to match. Being a soft twat I agreed as it saved filling in forms etc and all was well and the job looked good as new until I used a jet wash on the paint.  Don’t do it.
