NinjaG2 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 That as got to be one of the best games of football i have seen us play at the reebok 4 mins of extra time where did they dig that from
Guest kempo Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Great game today, best one we have played all season. Arsenal need to win next week otherwise the scum will caught them up
alibob Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 i think i lost my voice, my marbles and a few vital blood vessels in those 4 minutes added on. i'd have bet my (parents) house on them equalising! anyway... come on!!!
Zozzy Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 i think i lost my voice, my marbles and a few vital blood vessels in those 4 minutes added on. i'd have bet my (parents) house on them equalising! I'm not surprised that you feared an equalizer coming with them sh!t substitutions. What was Allardyce thinking about, we got absolutely battered in the last 10 minutes apart from Diouf and others being clever enough to waste time near the corner flag. Allardyce master tactician my arse. Credit to him with the original line up and the way we played the game in front of the cameras but f*ck me Hierro and Campo finishing the match together and Pederson for Okocha when he keeps control so well in midfield 80 mins of hard work and good football being gambled on a moment of madness by the manager near the end of the match was wrong. It's only being overlooked because we played so well and we've got the 3 points.
Guest Biff Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I think Alladyce was right to take Okocha off. He had a shit game and Pederson is good at holding up the ball and running it down the wing.
Casino Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 okocha played well, much better than freddie hill could have done, and had run as much as he was able
Guest The Special One Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Lost a lot of respect for terry henry yesterday. I thought he was a c??nt the way he reacted to the "who are ya" chants
MickyD Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Pederson for Okocha when he keeps control so well in midfield 80 mins of hard work and good football being gambled on a moment of madness by the manager near the end of the match was wrong. I'm all for being entertained by the genius but I'll wait until we are beating Chelski 5 - 0. 1-0 is not a good time to start with the micky-taking 'round-the-back' crosses!

I could go on but you get the drift! Where was I? Oh yes, only the people who didn't know such towns even had a football team!

I also think this was the reason for taking him off but would you swap a confident JJ Okocha who has the close control to keep possesion, or have Pedersen to pass to and hope he controls it? It was a big mistake by Allardyce and he got away with it.
