I took the points. The money I'd have lost doing the course was more than the extra money I'd have to pay for insurance.

Fuck sitting there for 6 hours or whatever it is. I'd rather just pay the money and not lose a day's pay.

You daft bugger, it's 2 hours online. I prefer the in person one as I can't keep myself awake for a zoom meeting that long.

Done my most recent one at Bolton Arena, apart from a really annoying lass from Salford who wouldn't shut up it was OK.

It’s only a couple of hours and you can chose making afternoon or evening

I’ve done one at the Arena. Mate of mine has taken on a job of replying/ dealing with complaints from attendees. Some ridiculous complaints. My complaint is that it’s boring as fuck and doesn’t really tell you anything new. I don’t drive anymore so won’t be bothering again. There’s definitely a case to be made for taking the points instead though. Depends on your insurance situation.

I did a Teams one during Covid (why the fuck a mobile speed camera van was being used during lockdown god knows) . Mainly multi drop delivery drivers who agreed it was impossible to compete their routes and stay within speed limits. Interesting discussion on corporate manslaughter.
