If you don't do one, and you die first, and it's a massive pain in the arse for her, you won't be around to take the grief 

If you don't do one, and she dies first, and it's a pain in the arse, she won't be around to say I told you so

So with all that in mind, it doesn't matter really, just think about what's best for you, personally

Just suppose a chap and his Mrs. live in rented flat, both have a bit of money in the building society but nowt else. They have a daughter who is independent has all sorts. Everything would go to her anyway.

Do this couple really need a will? Asking for me.

If a will makes things easier and cheaper for said daughter then why wouldn't you make things easier and cheaper for said daughter?
