Check out their group stage results in Qatar. Check out ours in 1966. Check out West Germanys in 1974. Check out Spains during this World Cup - folk were writing them off after the Cape Verde result.Spain have been brilliant. They may well win the World Cup again. I will be very surprised if they manage a clean sheet in this final. I won't be surprised if Argentina overcome another seemingly insurmountable hurdle - possibly by cynical disruption and deception tactics.Like most I hope Spain win it as they play superb football.
