I understand it but I still think it's sad that this is what football's come to

  • £36 is too much imo.

I'm not usually one for claiming x or y is the thin end of the wedge, but without caps on ticket prices clubs will continue to push it more and more. You only need to look at concert prices or the Wor

be impressed if they sell out midweek

Apparently they've sold over 50k STs for this season, fans sticking with it. Bit of novelty also perhaps about going to Champ grounds again for them and Wolves

It's a bit early for West Ham to be selling tickets for their game here........If either us or them get through to the 3rd round of the league cup, I think the league game will be getting moved, possibly to the following week.

Whilst its obviously impressive, I don't think its indicative of fans sticking with it as such, they have a waiting list of 10k that takes about 2 years to get on.

If a fan decides to stop going in the championship, they can't just start again when they're back in the Prem.

He's 30, played 17 games for PNE last season, and was playing for Doncaster till he was 25.

I think PNE will survive without him.

He's their captain so he must have some value

2 weeks today

This Place could be in Meltdown

1-1

maybe a Srapy 1-0 Win

Meltdown when we are 1 down after 7 minutes.

Euphoric over reaction when we take 87th minute lead

Manager out, sack the defence when we conceded 91st minute equaliser

Sack the recruitment team and list all goals after 91st minute last season by players no longer at the club when game ends 2-2.

Dong becomes this seasons scapegoat as he is not the love child of ACD/CBT/Cissoko

Someone lists goals scored by Dapo, Collins. Morley and Burstow whilst bemoaning our attacking options

I had a dream last night that we were 1-0 up, then I went for a piss and when I came back we were losing 2-1, and that was the final score. Woke up to soaked sheets.

He might be a great player, obviously I don't know.

But that's brought to mind the pre-Wembley chat when Stockport fans were rejoicing that our captain got injured at Bradford and wouldn't be playing at Wembley.

Most Bolton fans probably aren't too sure who our captain is and wouldn't bat an eyelid if we sold him, assuming there was a replacement.

Right, but our captain isn't attracting interest from a club aiming for promotion from the Championship so he must be at least decent

Okay, but in the here and now our opponents in two weeks' time are having their captain go on strike to force a move to a club with higher expectations

It feels at least a bit significant to me

Every year in the Championdhip there seems to be at least team that really blow up.

Preston have some of their fans worried it might be them. They have 12 out since end of last season and 4 in. The £6m signing they have made was on loan there last year so they have a big chunk of money that has not improved the squad

I have Sheffield Utd. as that.

Wishful thinking maybe.

Strange I actually typed them out as a potential fuck up. But I think the penalty they got was issues 3-4 seasons ago.

We can hope, them Preston and Lincoln can be bottom 3

Seems decent odds at home against a side who can’t put a team out.

Charlton will finish bottom

Charlton will finish bottom

Just pure guesswork at the moment where anybody will finish. If we started with what we’ve got now I wouldn’t put anything on us not finishing bottom but we know that a lot of business will be done between now and the end of August. Lincoln seem to be happy to rely on the majority of their promotion squad whilst Cardiff already have a number of their previous Championship players but will add a few more. We on the other hand don’t even have a top L1 squad so have more work to do than anyone. I’m sure the team that starts September will be significantly stronger than now and will at least see us through to January where we can add again. We just need a bit of patience but I trust Fergal and Schuey to see us right.

What's so bad at Charlton to surmise they'll finish bottom?

They are my main hope to struggle, of the non-promoted teams, along with Blackburn and PNE.

Whenever I saw them last season, they looked very L1, which gives me hope 😄

Charlie Kelman their main striker and he only scored 7. Sonny Carey their top scorer on 8 (ex Blackpool) and he played all 46 games so basically 1 in 6.

Signed Karlan Grant from WBA, 14 goals in his last 100 games.

Not saying we are any better currently but Charlton are a target to aim for.

bookies have us as second favourites to go down or finish bottom

but better odds than 4 other teams to finish top 8
