Probably cost us more for tickets in East and West, they are normally more than North and South.

Might be £40 for us? Interesting that the away team gets the prices before the home team! This isn't a moan, its just surprising.

FYI the only Category A+ is Burnley on Boxing Day, most expensive will be £42 I believe.

It really represents the value of the Early Bird season ticket deal. Match by match tickets are not going to be cheap this year.

Cat A for away fans at deepdale will be £33 this season . So barely any difference.

They moaned about ticket prices the last team we played them at home in the league because they wanted to wear those silly hats and we put it as Cat A

Absolutely ridiculous that an away fan could go to a Premier League title decider next season for less than watching Bolton vs Preston.

Not when you consider the Prem teams won't even notice the money they take on the gate from away fans. 3k paying fans at Arsenal is probably about 1% of their matchday income (total guess) dwarfed by sponsorships, TV deals here and abroad, corporates etc.

If we can get £100k out of the away fans once a month its a big part of our annual budget, we aren't propped up by Sky.

Not sure they'll be that much? PNE £33 it sounds like, Blackburn no doubt similar. Not sure about Burnley, surely less than £40. Wrexham and Birmingham charging Hollywood prices?

Hard to see any other clubs charging £40 to play us, we'll be Cat C for most 😄(one bonus of no longer being a big fish in a small pond).

Wasn't it in the COVID season it was said prem teams could get by with no one in the stands

Corporate is a bit different but match daying fans don't pay the players wages as much as they think they do

£36 is too much imo.

Higher matchday prices effectively underwrite our cheaper season tickets so a necessary evil I suppose. Expect quite a few games to be around that mark this season.

Weren't we charging our own fans 30 odd for certain league 1 games last season?

Was hoping for some kind of mutual agreement over cheaper prices for this but clearly not! £36 is a joke.

I'm not usually one for claiming x or y is the thin end of the wedge, but without caps on ticket prices clubs will continue to push it more and more. You only need to look at concert prices or the World Cup to see how things can spiral.

Fans justifying it, or not caring because it's just fleecing rival fans, are missing the point imo. We - as match-going football fans - will all get fucked in the end. There's more than enough money in the game not to be charging £36-40 in the second tier.

Pretty sure Coventry were charging away fans £45 last year.

The problem is, it's not all cash in the bank. When you know there's going to be higher away attendances, you need a higher police presence, you need more stewards, you need more staff in the kiosks. All of that costs us money

Prices go up after the promotion we've been clamouring for for years. What a massive shock.

I'm not disagreeing £36 is a lot, but for eg Cardiff and Barnsley were £30 last season in ESL; £32 for Cat A.

An extra few quid after promotion (as well as inflation) is just to be expected.
