I don't think sticky scaffolding is a very good idea really. I was up some today, it wasn't sticky but it was gritty due to all the salt they'd put down to stop it being icy & slippery.

 

Anyway, that's my interesting scaffolding anecdote.

Gubbins scaffold was condemned in 1933, it was last used constructing the HINDENBURG, i know, cause i fell off it on a job in Farnworth in 94.
