and whilst we are at it... can I just quickly apologise for having involvement in 3 sportsmans dinners that have raised nearly ??15k for local charities... been involved in organising XI footie matches involving Bolton fans playing teams from other clubs... and thus generating good will and "networking". Also must apologise for playing for WW 5-a-side team.

All of the above was done solely to be "in the clique" and not for the benefit of a) charities; advertising WW to the masses; c) to get off my arse and do something worthwhile.

 

if anyone feels they are "not in the clique" then do something about it. Get involved!!

agree there Cassie. there are far too many threads that are worthless and infantile. but it could be argued that zoe has since "got involved".

i think most pointless stuff needs moving elsewhere much quicker by the mods and a "button" for the Chat Room needs to be prominent on the forum page.

So why did you start a thread of meaningless drivel? If you can't beat them so join them and start your own clique?

 

You do have a point, and I think most on here would actually agree. To much boring chat and threads are being destroyed by posters suddenly getting in to a two, three or four way conversation that has nothing t do with the original post. Call me owd fashion but I think threads should be left to die naturally. Any post with FAO in should be fecking removed simple as. Use the PM facility you ignoramus???s. I???ve noticed that some other message boards have a ???anything but football??? forum. Think it???s about time we had one.

 

Even though there is little actual football stuff to talk about I think most of the regulars would actually agree that the board has been going through a bad patch since 17th April, and maybe even before that date.

Zoe, love, if anyone had posted as much as you have in the last few weeks they would experience negative feedback. You can't blame people for having a dig, you have set yourself up for it. That's human nature.

 

I think a too large a proportion have been drivel, but that's just my personal opinion.
