I actually think Pedersen would have scored at least of of the chances Davies missed last night, however, I think Borgetti would have had 2.

he has been a cracking signing, people are only doubting him because for the first time in years, we have a decent striker on the bench.

I don't think anybody is getting on Davies' back. He gives 110% effort everey game (if that is possible). OK he missed two chances last night that Borghetti might have scored but at least he was in a position to have a chance. Mind you Nat would have scored them both. He was taken off last night because he was knackered. Likewise that is why Jay Jay came on for Nakata. Speaking of Nakata, we only have him on loan so we should sign him up as soon as possible before some other club beat us to it. I've heard a rumour that Charlton are interested in him.

Sam was saying the other week he wanted to sign Nakata permanently, hopefully we have first option to buy him, i'm sure a few other clubs will be after him now.

I'll never criticise Davies he's a gudden and what makes you think Borgetti would have scored the two chances. He missed a decent chance at Charlton or could have set JJ up for a certain goal if he was thinking straight.

Davies got some stick from people around me in the East Upper, I was practically kicking off with them. I think Davies is rapidly becoming a target for the boo boys as you say, I can hear the wheels of the 'bandwagon' squeaking now

 

He doesn't deserve the criticism, yes he missed a couple of sitters...and people can say the the Borg may have put them away all they want, but Davies creates those opportunities, and the Borg does NOT! I would be willing to give them both a go on the pitch as a front pairing, but that will never happen... #-o
