March 17, 200620 yr AT ABOUT 11 AM TODAY I TOLDMY MATE AT WORK I WAS THINKING OF WHACKING A GRAND ON DESERT QUEST OFF OF MY CREDIT CARD... I FIGURED I COUOLD PAY IT OFF OVER TE NEXT FEW MONTHS IF IT WENT TITS UP. AT ABOUT 4 PM AFTER HAVING NO LUCK ALL DAY I DECIDED TO GIVE UP THE GGS BUT AS HE WAS GOIGN THE BOOKIES ANYWAY ASKED HIM TO PUT A TENNER ON THE NOSE JSUT TO TEMPT FATE,..... IF ONLY I HAD ANY TESTICLES on another note, did cheltnam stink of fixedness to anyone else? no favourites hardly all week then on the last day a couple and then lo and behold,theres a nice one comes home in the last, to send any of those who hadnt given up home smiling and not tooooo down, and to garuntee that they keep on playing the ggs, whilst still leaving plenty margin to send the bookies home laughing..... that was how i felt this morning, everything id read or heard about desert quest made it sound like a gimme, an easy one, price deliberately held out around 4/5s to keep us mugs happy ish.... i jsut wish id had the same confidense in this earlier today as i do now woth the power of the all mighty hindsight rant over beer time.
March 17, 200620 yr i know i know, and ultimately it was the thought how i would feel paying that of thas stopped me my biggest previous bet is like a 10er but i cant describe how certain i was it was going to win it was almost scripted
