nolan/ stelios/davies, to me is 1 up front, vaz te borgetti and davies is 3 up front , i think the spurs game is a 1 up front game.

I'd go Nolan/Davies/Vaz Te. That and keep Nakata with Campo and Speed. Would give us a bit of everything up front allied with hard work and a bit more solidity.

It will be a one upfront game. Unfortunately, it needs to be a 3 upfront game. The best form of defence is attack.

 

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet at Spurs and we do need at least a point ie we need to score. The more attacking we are, the more likely we are to score.

agree about Nakata, I think he will get more time on the ball at WHL and will be able to shine, like a light - just like Okocha did a few years ago when he had some space

I see the Joey O'Brien phenomenon didn't last long!

Joey is a young lad and has played far more games than he expected to this season. His last few games have not been up to his standard. He will be allthe better for his rest come the Intertoto.

30 odd appearances in his first season is some going, plus a full cap for Eire.

its definatly not three up front like at charlton i would say:

 

davis as the target man, just one up front, its going to be quite deffensive i would say all thought big sam might push 2 up front at a risk

I reckon Sam was resting players on saturday with the full intention of having them back at 100% for Spurs.

 

He has now got one of those problems managers claim to love, Borg and Nakata will rightfully be fuming if they are dropped I reckon...it's ideal for us to have players scrapping for places though.

spurs are fairly strong in midfield and for me nakata is too weak for the premiership.he is a good player thats been obvious since he 1st joined but he just hasnt taken his chances when hes been given them.

 

he did play well on saturday,his 1st good game for a while but i think it had more to do with charltons midfield being crap agaisnt west brom we might as well have played with 10 men.

 

saying that though saturday might have given him some confidence to play well for the rest of the season to win a contract with us.so playing him for the rest of the season could be a good thing

Lennon is ragging lightning fast, luckily Ricky has a bit of pace himself.
