I will tell you this now, Beattie how worked his Bollocks off, thats what has suprised us this season. I did think he was a lazy c??nt, but the lad doesnt stop running!

 

He started off with a bit of bad luck, it would have been easier for him to give up and get a cut price move to Villa or Pompey. But he stuck at it and got his form back.

We did it with Camara because he needed unsettling. As underhand as it is it was, going public was one way of doing it.

 

In this case we want to buy, he wants to sell and there's no need for any announcements. He's already said that Gartside's conducted business 'honourably', so our strategy seems to be working with him so far.

 

I'd rather it was done discreetly like this than have a million and one pointless fncking announcements that dont actually say anything stringing us along for weeks. The whole process so far seems to be moving quite fast and Im surprised Jordan accepted the bid so early.
