Pisa & Ascoli the only aways?

Yes in Italy. Tranmere was away as well.

Pisa & Ascoli the only aways?

Yes, and I believe we played Sunderland as well.

Technically, Jimmy Philips scored our first goal on foreign soil :D

Tranmere away was legendary! Rioch spat his dummy after the game and transfer-listed half the team, and Aidan Davidson turned in a performance so incredible it had to be seen to be believed!

And we won 2-1! :D/

oh yes! ancona at burnden and we beat them 5-0! euro glory days :^o

Wrong again Nat. Bolton had played quite a few games abroad before Pisa

didnt a certin collina referee one of our home matches cant remeber if it was brescia or ancona, and remember when hagi played for brescia, thought one of you football know it all would have mentioned this. :-$ :-$ :-$

After the Brescia game the team were in Ritzy, knocking back the pints and smoking like troopers =D>

Robbie Savage scoring at Wrexham doesnt count

3-3 wasnt it, Hagi hat-trick, including one from a free kick from around 40 yards that rolld along the ground, then under Davidson ](*,)

Collina gave us a pen late on, then changed his mind after the Brescia players complained to the (Italian) linesman, and gave them a goal kick

The programme for the Tranmere game away caused a lot of controversy. An article in it kept referring to Bolton as ugly town and all the inhabitants spoke with funny accents. A bit rich coming from a Merseyside club. Suffice to say that the author of the article was sacked after complaints were made.

we played tranmere away and sunderland at home. they were both qualifying matches. we won them both.

happy days

Sunderland was memorable in its own way

They must have brought 1,000 (nearly as many as we had on!!) for a totally pointless midweek game, it absolutely pissed it down on em on the embankment for 2 hours, and they didn't stop singing once, I swear

Respect is due, although at the time I thought they were plain daft

remember going to pisa on the coach 70 bolton lads and 4 west brom

then went to watch england none stop drinking for five days good thing we had a boots chemist :D/

I remember Pisa. Some Chelsea lads on their way to see England went to the match. It threatened to kick off in the Bolton crowd at one point.
