AZ-Alkmaar

is it at home or away?

As the KO time is given in English time, I fear it's at home. Shame.

Still, top class oppo.

would have been a corking away day though wouldn't it

Looks like the game is away. The article mentions DSB Stadion which I assume AZ67 play at.

AZ's stadium held about 3 men and a dog, which is why Boro only got about 400 tickets for their UEFA Cup clash.

I assume they've got a new one, seems Arsenal are playing there.

Just checked it out, they have the same stadium as last year, and the capacity is a whopping 8400

No need for an A-Z, there's only one street you need to walk up and down :D

If this game is at the Reebok there will be less than 4000 on, we will take more than that if its away.

On Monday 10 July, the second part of the preparation start PREY on on the new football season from. The first part that is currently busy, walks yet till and with 29 June. Blikvangers in the second part of the preparation are the trained duels against 1. FC K??ln, Bolton Wanderers and the official opening of the DSB Stadium with close-fitting a competition.

the game against us is at the reebok. they open their new ground "DSB Stadium" against Arsenal on the 4th august.

dont forget the ESL is closed for the game.

where are they having the programme stalls then?

According to th'Evening News posters in some pubs - including Athy Arms I think, it's at home 2:00pm kick off after a "Family Fun Day".

Holt's bitter had kicked in when I saw it, so I am prepared to be shot down.

According to the posters it is advertised as a FREE fun day followed by a match v AZ Alkmaar. Why are they charging for tickets for the match? Just go to the fun day and stay.

i agree biff, it is a friendly it should be free, would it not be better to get 20,000 on instead of the 3000 who will actually attend.

Couldn't make it to the game yesterday and i can't find a report or the result of the match. Not even on the clubs website. Can someone help me please.
