Emerson is also in his early thirties. But he'll be a superb addition as well, as that's what Madrid have been lacking since Makelele left. A solid holding midfielder.

Thuram isnt past his best, he has still got 2 years left in him and he gives 100% and he is like carragher that he does his job well no matter what and sticks to what he knows best. Still world class and i thought he had a good world cup with solid displays. And they have simply done it so they can have a back four of
