It's not looking to good at the moment with us looking for a 20 a season goal scorer, but surely we should go for milner ??3.5m and nugent ??3m, in a seasons time, there going to be worth double those price's as there only young and both have talent. Also Benni McCarthy, ??2.5m to blackburn what a bargain, he could have got 20 goals for us this season without a doubt. Thats 3 good players for ??9m which would have added a lot of quality and youth to the team. Anyone agree or would that be a waste of our transfer kitty?

I'd sooner us offer Vaz Te, Diouf, Nolan and Davies ??1M bonus if they reach 20 goals this season.

I just dont see vaz getting that many goals im afraid, better out wide taking players on and creating goals for nugent!

Given a decent run in the side i can see Vaz's confidence and ability improving no end and he'll bag us plenty of goals!

Vaz has played in 30 league games for bolton!

Vaz Te will be Bolton's top scorer this season. Once he got his first premiership goal last season his confidence went sky high and he couldn't stop scoring. The end of the season came at the wrong time for him, but he's scored a good goal in pre-season and I think he will be our best striker next season. [-o<

Unfortunately I doubt Vaz Te is going to be our top goal scorer this season. The lads got talent but needs to strengthen up and put some weight on if he is to compete consistently at Prem level.

 

There is no doubt that we need another striker and Sam is the first to admit it. Most of the teams around us have managed to improve their squads so if we dont manage to get a goal scorer then I predict we may have a medicore season at best.

 

Who knows though? There's still time for Sam to pull off a coup!

I thought it was effective and worked, I also think that Vaz plays best in this formation and next season I think our front three line up will be Davies in the centre with Vaz and Diouf either side.

 

Unless we get saviola or Anelka then I haven't got a clue what we'll do.

If vaz te and diouf are doing very well, then that system might be best. Of course it would be a big advantage if saviola did come, but i'd say we could do ok without him and pretty much as we are.

I'm a big fan of Vaz Te, I think he is one of those players that is just a nightmare for defenders to handle, and he makes superb runs in behind - a quality we are short of.

 

I am tempted to have a good bet on him at those odds. He may not be first choice right now but when he gets his chance - which he will - I believe he'll stay in the team.
