just watched the first half and here are my thoughts, Diouf not yet near 100%,johan smith is the fastest bolton player i have ever seen, perez is about a division 1 player and i would be suprised if we signed him his best asset is his delivery with his left foot from set plays, Idan tal should be o.k.as a squad player, the young lad who played right augustin Blayz was all at sea all the huelva attacks came down his side and he clearly struggled, also good to see two wandersways members in the crowd namely squidgy and biffo, sat amongst 5 bolton fans, well done lads, also walking down the manny road was clearly heard as the game kicked off.

Its early days, but we've been screaming out for someone with real pace for a while now. Read somewhere he did 100m in 10.2 seconds when he was in the States as a Sprinter.

 

He would be suited to play in the Stelios/Diouf type position IMO. His pace would scare the shit out of fullbacks, and he would be a easy outball when trying to stretch the play. Looks decent enough in possesion and has a trick or two. Just needs to work on his finishing. Obviously he would need blooding in a few cup games to check how far he has come over the last year, but i'm excited by this guy.

I am not to worried about his finishing playing out wide he would terrorise any body with that kind of speed, very exciting player and somethng we have not had in the team since david lee, but i would say he is much faster than lee, his pace really is electric.

the point about jay jay was that he could see a pass and although i rate kevin d very highly he was never going to charge through and leave a defence standing a player with real pace would.

 

in turn this forces the defence further back and making the high balls to kev d a threat on the edge of the area rather than 10-15 yards further up the pitch.
