Same goes. Had enough of hearing fans cheer substitutions. Nolan having a bad time of it sure but people have no memories! He has scored so many goals for us and he's just lacking confidence and maybe a bit of fitness.

 

Those fans that cheered should be ashamed! Same for Hunt, I don't rate him as a footballer but would never boo him.

Fans were pouring out near me with 15 minutes to go. And it wasn't even a really bad game.

I agree. In between the barracking of the players, the leaving early, the ungratefulness towards Sam and the ever growing idea that we have a divine right to be beating just about everybody. I find it hard to defend certain sections of our so called 'support'.

I cheered the substitution,I cheered for Tal coming on and i clapped Nolan off the field.Heard a lot about 'Nolan getting booed off' on radio manchester on way home,load of bollocks.

If certain players aren`t playing well then you as paying customers are entitled to express your disgust.

 

However cheering when our captain is subbed and shouting "f*ck off you scouse c*nt is bang out of order and i for one will not put up with it. The two pricks sat behind me will think twice about doing it again.

Miserable coonts used to be at Burnden in the 70's too. Bunch of us from t'Burnden Paddock decided to get ST's for different sections of the ground the next season and take the negative tw@ts on. I was in the 10 who got Manny Rd North and, by the fook, the place was full of whingeing bastuds. Got stuck into em all season and, believe it or not, turned em away from the dark side until everybody was up for backing the team no matter what. Got to a point were an habitual moaner would keep his trap shut.

 

I feel sure that the fact that the season ended with Jimmy Armfields team being champions had fook all to do with it
