Gardner is finished and Hunt is having another mare

oh eye yeah i think i would back myself agaist wallcot or risiky anyday. sadly u can only use what we have got, they are not the best but they are far from the worst full backs in the world

Hunt was shocking and Gardner is struggling to pick up last season's form: time will tell for the latter and time's up for the former. Sorry, Nicky: time to go.

Granted Gardner needs more games, but so far I have defended Hunt this season, but of late he has been appalling, today capping it off

last week i hold my hands up he was awfull but so were the rest of the team this week i dont think he was that bad he didt have a great first half but in secound he got better and did everything expected of him. if we can bring in another right back that is better i wont be to disapointed to see him go and sit on the bench but for the moment got to just stick with him.

Gardner looks like he has put weight on since he has come back from his injury.

He just needs time.

your right mate not many posts saying well done little bolton you did us proud too many raggingvictor meldrews on here these days bolton got a draw i dont bellllllllllieve it

While I can agree that we need to add players, and full back is an obvious area, (Little Sam: we need to sub at left back. Big Sam: OK... you know that big Scandanavian striker... ask him if he wants to try...), I found very little to moan about in their performance today. You have one player who has just lost the best part of a year to injury and another who can't even walk across the town hall square without some plonker booing him, and they were up against Walcott, Rosicky, Henry et al and did a marvallous job.

Fair enough, we need a couple of extra players, but will you lot stop moaning and bitching about what was a superb team performance.

I honestly think Hunt had a decent game, as for Ricardo - he'll need a few more games yet to get his sharpness back.

I should f??cking well hope not

Anelka,Campo and Diouf aren't players that get low wages and would play for little clubs at this stage in their careers. We are medium sized not little.

Both full backs are the weak areas in our team and the reason we have such a poor recent record against Man Utd in my opinion. With Giggs and Ronaldo that is the area United are at their strongest.

We have been linked with the Le Havre full back and JLloyd Samuel in the last two days and i hope we sign them both.

JLloyd Samuel

Oh I hope not

J Lloyd Samuel is gash, and injury prone. As for "our Sally" i wouldn't know - never heard of him/her.

J Lloyd Samuel is gash,

he were alreet in Pulp Fiction

From where i was sat i thought Gardner had a decent game, dont know why Sam took him off.

I was pissed mind.

a top day out

ah the headed back pass that led to the Henry chance!

I thought the whole team was poor.

jussi flapped at a couple of crosses

hunt at fault for the goal

faye at fault for the goal

meite at fasult for the goal

ricky see hunt

campo should have scored with a header

nolan should have scored when 1 on 1

speed never even got a chance to score

stelios never took the full back on for pace

anelka did bot score

KD spent about 15 mins sitting on sidelines with a poorly foot, never once beat clichy for pace, let his man go for the goal.

subs

goal machine never got forward

vaz te why cannt he score ?

tal, and the other foreigner just sat there doing nothing all day i could do that for 90 minutes.

i hope they are in for extra training.

thats better i feel like a proper member of wanderersways now !!!

this morning when sam get the lads in, do you think he'll be replay the goal and allowing the players to basque on the glory of a 1-1 draw.

will he balls, he'll be showing them all the shit things they did, the times players stoppped running for a split second, the times they lost concentration, the times they made individiual errors.

but

it will all be constuctive, something that never happens on here..

well said

Campo's the only player we've got who can basque in glory.

Apart from a couple of trademark slices into the crowd and a dozy moment early on I thought Hunt did alright.

:good: Well said. I thought the team as a whole had a very good game.

The centre backs played as well as I have seen any centre backs play and proved that we don't need Ben Haim.

I thought Hunt had a poor first half but had a good second half (and remember he was up against the world class Rosicky all game, who was for me their man of the match).

I thought Ricky played well, and is improving with every match he plays.

The midfield 3 were class. Speed never stopped running, Campo controlled it, and Nolan is getting back to his best.

The front 3 also had a good game, Davies never stopped running and that pass to Nolan for the goal was world class :D , Anelka was our outlet and created some chances, and Stelios played bettr than I expected, Diouf was missed though.

All in all a good performance and a good day out.
