Featured Replies

Since some people are walking down memory lane, just thought id ask if anybody took a momento from Burnden?

I got an Exit sign, which is still mounted on my wall.

Went in The 'Bill for a last few pints after the game.

On exiting back on to Manchester Road we saw the exit gates still open, so back into Burnden we went.

A game of 43-a-side was in progress on the hallow turf but of more interest was the open access down the tunnel.

All I can say is that a number of wooden signs were taken as momento's by the Bolton die hards amongst us, whilst the part timer who came to the game was more interested in the bottle of spirits in the upstairs side bar.

This doesnt count in this thread really but, when we won promotion when beating North End in 92

when everone ran on the pitch i got the corner flag in front of the manny road south stand

Me Dad got some turf. he got some from manny road wing stand still in the garden to this day

I was one of the sad people that got a metre of turf for a fiver grass markings included could have have been from anywhere really

A brick from the Burnden Paddock

Programme and un-used ticket from last game.

I've a lump of concrete from the lever end, oh and a pen made from the wood at burnden (allegedly)

i got a brick from the paddock, half a sign, and sadly a toilet seat from the burnden stand :bad: we were all tennagers once... my mate got a shove down the stairs for his troubles

A piece of the Burnden Padock seats......The day Bradford came to town :aggressive:

I know Smiley had a mug the day Burnley came to town

Who the fook brought a bag full of mugs to the game? I think they came from their end first and just went back and forth, there was so much flying across, you couldn't watch the game. Happy days :D

Southampton at Burnden, think we lost 2-1, and Le Tissier got a great rendition of 'you'll never play for England' directed at him. Bolton fans were fighting amongst themselves in the Paddock & the bed-wetters from Hampshire got straight back on their coaches afterwards.

Dont no if anyone seen the article in the Bolton News yesterday, but somone has bought a turnstile from Burnden park, which cost him 500 notes.

SMILEY DID INDEED GET THE MUG IN THE HEAD THAT DAY , EVERYONE AROUND WAS AFTER LOBBING IT BACK BUT SEASONED TRAVELLER GOT HOLD OF IT AND IT WENT IN HIS COAT POCKET - A GREEN PUMA COAT IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY. (OWT FOR NOWT) AS THEY SAY !!
