All this means is that Hunt is better than an our of position debutante. Mostly anyone who's seen him can see Hunt is bad

2. TBH is a cock, if he is going at the end of the season i never want to see him in a white shirt ever again.

If he's such a cock why do you only say "if he is going", would you take him back if he signed a big contract, cos it'd be wrong not to

3. If we take the last 5 minutes out of yesterdays game we would be talking about a great result

A good result at best, unfortunately, this isn't how football works. You have to count the whole game.

4. We now need points out of either west ham or chelsea

If Wigan beat west ham, and Sheffield beat Watford (both at home) West Ham will have nothing to play for.

5. if vaz te or henric had been on the bench they would have come on instead of thomson and done better jobs

That's wishful thinking at best

6. i have not seen a bolton team collapse like that in recent years, maybe we were missing the captain ?

Maybe we need a captain capable of playing well consistently, as well as motivating the team then?

7. doctor who was quite good

I don't watch doctor who since they got rid of Billie

8. stopping drinking when i got home was a school boy error

You're better off in the long run

9. our goal differnce will come back to haunt us.

Maybe, I don't really have anything to say about this but I now feel like I have to respond to all the points

10. you get what you deserve in football we got fcuk all

Same as above

what about mr sam allardyce?

if he pulled his thumb out of his arse, maybe.

even steve coppull said his team hardly deserved 1 point, never mind 3.

your point? west ham will be more dangerous if they are already relegated.

and?

already discussed many time, no matter how badly nolan plays, he must be in the team.

7. doctor who was quite good

im confused

I have said on numerous occasions on this very forum that TBHjack.gif does'nt want to know and he is defo not 100% committed to this club! This goes back to the very day he faked an injury at Arsenal! He is a cuuunt of the highest order!!

He should never wear a Bolton shirt again! jack.gif

Facts about the team that capitulated:

Jaaskelainen - bought for 3 and 6 from Finland

Michalik - bought for 3 and 6 from Slovakia

Ben Haim - bought for 3 and 6 from Israel

Meite - couldn't get a game at a below average Marseille team in a very poor league

Gardner - 3 cruciate ops have taken their toll

Stelios - not played regularly this season, for good reasons

Speed - the oldest outfield player playing regularly in the league

Andranik - bought for 12 tracksuits from Iran

Davies - less than prolific, burly striker playing out wide???

Anelka - neckache from all the hoofed "passes"

Thompson - not played regular Premiership football for ages

If that was the best team we could field you have to ask how on earth we aren't fighting relegation.

If that was the best team we could field you have to ask how on earth we aren't fighting relegation.

you've mention the 'r' word ! is that like the first cuckoo of spring ?

watching yesterday from the WSU, i was doubtful before half-time if that Whites team would be any good in a relegation scrap. and i'd already decided 'no' before the late horror show.

Coppell said after that it was tight & even before Bolton scored, then the game opened up. ffs, is that what we should be doing ?

then BSA says we should have closed up the game after going 1-0 up. but how the fook can we when we have no sort of passing (i.e. possession) game ?

i'm baffled .....

2. TBH is a cock

3. If we take the last 5 minutes out of yesterdays game we would be talking about a great result

So for 85 minutes he wasnt a cock?

If he's such a cock why do you only say "if he is going", would you take him back if he signed a big contract, cos it'd be wrong not to to be honest after yesterday i think i could leave out 'if he was going'

a win yesterday we have gotten us into europe, which makes it great in my view

4. We now need points out of either west ham or chelsea

If Wigan beat west ham, and Sheffield beat Watford (both at home) West Ham will have nothing to play for.

balls, any relegated team wants to go out in a blaze of glory in front of their own fans

5. if vaz te or henric had been on the bench they would have come on instead of thomson and done better jobs

That's wishful thinking at best why wishful ? we have 2 players registered to the club who would have given us an attacking option instead of which we had 2 midgets.

6. i have not seen a bolton team collapse like that in recent years, maybe we were missing the captain ?

Maybe we need a captain capable of playing well consistently, as well as motivating the team then? beteer than have one than the nothing we neded up with

7. doctor who was quite good

I don't watch doctor who since they got rid of Billie

you should it is good.

8. stopping drinking when i got home was a school boy error

You're better off in the long run would have been happier if drunker that is life

Same as above see 9 above.

Heh, I'd agree with a lot of your point, I just haven't gotten into Doctor Who that much, but I will try.. I didn't mean TBH at right back, i thought it was Lubo there, but I might be wrong. Other than that, although I'd much prefer someone who contributes positively to the team and made us play better I'd have to say that if there was some donkey who happened to be our lucky charm and meant we'd win all our games if he player obviously I'd have him there.

Lubo was a centre half! How you couldn't spot him i'll never know, he's huge!

I'm firmly in the 'Hunt isn't as bad as everyone says' camp so the fact all three goals came down the right doesn't surprise me.

What TBH was doing twatting about on the floor i've no idea, not only did it take him out of the defense other players stopped playing thinking the ref would stop play.

Stephen Hunt is a dirty little shoite, i first thought his collision with cech was an accident but after saturday i've changed my mind! He make robbie savage look like and angel!

He was about 6 foot 9 and tracking Kitson (the ginger) who was towering above our defence. TBH was clearly playing full-back, if you couldn't see that you may as well stick to watching games on TV.

..., i thought it was Lubo there, but I might be wrong.

your future football opinions are now null and void.

and after all that doom and gloom we will still make a uefa cup spot!

imagine if we were in the bottom three some WW posters would be killing themselves!

imagine if we in the top four, the team would still be shit, people would moan etc etc

Yep, obviously I am wrong, but being far far away from the Reebok means I don't see matches there I didn't watch it at all, I just picked it up wrong from what I'd read (when I saw that he replaced hunt I just thought it was a straight swap).

A good point. We have seriously overachieved when you look at the credentials of our squad. In fact think about how lucky we have been in the following games:

Watford(h)

Portsmouth(a)

Liverpool(h)

Blackburn(a)

Villa(a)

We couldn't complain if we lost those games and we won them all.

Even

Watford (a)

Arsenal (h)

Newcastle (h)

Portsmouth (h)

Wigan(a)

could easily have ended in draws on balance of play.

Fair enough

Charlton (a)

Sheff Utd(a)

Wigan(h)

Everton(a)

Reading(h)

we perhaps deserved more from,

but I reckon we have gained quite a lot of net points this season where we haven't been the better team on balance of play. I remember earlier in the season saying we haven't played well yet we are still in the top 5. I now realise that was as good as we get and winning games without playing well has been the conerstone of our season.

The midfield has detiorated as the season has gone on, the full backs shaky all season. We must strengthen these areas in the summer if the 'R' word is not to enter into our thoughts next season. We can't rely on dogged defence and superb goalkeeping for ever.

We appear to command respect from most teams we play, but I still can't believe that every team we play does not commit players forward, gamble on leaving gaps at the back and just try to score more than us. Most would do so IMHO.

I have to disagree Bristol.

Teams don't gamble at the back against us because the majority are scared of Davies winning every header and they are well aware that any gaps will be exploited by Anelka's pace.

come now, you don't still judge players on how much they cost do you?

also

remember when we lost 3-1 leads in subsequent home games in injury against Palace and Gillingham (or maybe one of those was Wimbledon), now that was fookin painful

I wasn't judging players on how much they cost, more the whole team. That team together had no right to be playing a game for a top half Premiership side. If we lose out on anything, it's due to lack of investment, ergo I blame Gartside.

Agree with pretty much all of that Bristol; remember when Mourinho went all out attack at Stamford Bridge...not many Managers would have the balls for it though.

I would add that whenever Diouf isn't playing / on-form we look a much poorer team than without any other single player - we tend to thrive from what he produces.
