April 23, 200719 yr Did Stelios really blow up a balloon and pop it as Doyle was taking the pen for Reading or was it floating around on the pitch?
April 23, 200719 yr The balloon rolled on to the pitch then the rubber sphere was placed underfoot ready for the penalty kick. I thought it was very unsportsman like and was actually disgusted that someone in a white shirt could do that.

April 25, 200719 yr im with Happy on this one. If you are going to lose a game lose it gracefully and not deliberatly put someone off i think if you are going to worry about 'gamesmanship' and doing the honourable thing you might be better off watching the world tiddlywinks than professional football. if it meant he missed i would have been happy to see someone having a shit in his boot and throwing that at them. you win nothing for fair play.....apart from the fair play league...of course.
April 25, 200719 yr if it meant he missed i would have been happy to see someone having a shit in his boot and throwing that at them. At last, a Plan B!
