Class finisher but Spazzy Darren can run faster than he can! FACT!

I take it I am on my own with the fact that I would want him at the club.

 

He is one of the best finishers ever to be in the premiership and for me he hasn't lost that.

 

If a ball fell in the box, I would prefer him on the end of it than anyone in our team, including Anelka.

 

Overall I would prefer Anelka in the team because he scares defenders with his pace and skill, but I still think Fowler could do a job for us.

 

IMO he would score more goals than both Diouf and Davies have this season without playing a fraction of the games they have.

 

He would add an extra option to a forward line, and would also add some quality to to the depth.

Fowler would score at the Bok as a 50yo

he has hardly played regularly for the last 2/3 years which just as a coincidence is when he's gone ridiculously overweight and has a relatively poor goal scoring record recently due to his lack of games.
