Featured Replies

So, it's not rained for about 3 weeks, and we've had loads of sun. Mrs Bogs decides she wants a barbie yesterday, but 5 fookin minutes after i'd set everything up - it pisses it down dunnit

Same here Bogs,

Got up at half 9, cleaned both cars, had a full monty breaky sat outside.....Maud did the garden, settled down about half 3....had a beer..read the paper.......got the BBQ underway.......just finished cooking....ready to sit Al Fresco and it shat it down.....game over.....ate inside.......30 mins later sun shining again.

Never Mind.....

My sypathies gents. We also had one yesterday. Middle of winter here - a fookin freezing 21C clear sunny day and the missus decides it's BBQ time. At least it didn't rain I suppose ;) :D

I knew we could rely on bolty to inform us about some of the hardships involved with living in the southern hemisphere :::::::lol:::::::

Mrs Bogs would say 21C is too fookin' cowd for a barbie

Was working on the garden all b?stard day, nowt like spending your own time & money on someone else's garden ready for future BBQ's........especially when said person is too lazy to lift a f?cking finger himself & stays in bed on Champ Manager <_<

Why do I f?cking bother....................is it legal to evict your mate who owns the house?

get the stuff on the grill in the kitchen, peasants

Think you need to go to Spec Savers as it rained yesterday at about 7pmish

You only live up the road from me so am pretty sure it rained there too

No rain down Crawley way, but bloody cloudy all weekend. Had a good old fashioned picnic on Wandsworth Common. Felt a bit of a pleb as our friends had a selection of really posh cheeses from Waitrose and had chicken with rocket salad and we brought tesco value ham and cheddar. Oh and mini cornish pasties. Still, I got to drive past Tooting Bec station and give a little Wolfie salute in honour!

I WAS IN KEARSLEY FROM 4 YESTERDAY AND IT DIDNT RAIN , ALTHOUGH I DO REMEMBER A BLOKE COMING IN THE PUB SAYING IT WAS PERSISTING DOWN IN COWYED LAND.

Was your Mother-in-Law there as well?

Sounds like you had a whale of a time with posh cheeses & wafer thin ham, did you talk about the stock market & comment on how 'fabulous' each other looked?

'Fraid not. Although the bloke we went with does work in the city, I haven't got a bloody clue. I also don't think you can call Tesco Value Ham wafer thin, swimming in its own sweaty water possibly.

Ok, what do the rest of WW take on their family picnics? Pastie barm and Whist pie on Moss Bank Park anyone?

Don't take the p1ss as, Crawley is a trendsetter in political circles. Aristocratic socialism. It's the future. "Pass me another devilled cumquat, Deirdre"

I'm afraid 'Our Tony' got their first with that one!

Is anyone a member of the Labour Party on here? If so, anyone know who they are going to be voting for in the Deputy Leader elections?

A selection of Cooked Meats

A selection of Cheeses

A selection of Breads

Salad Stuff

Pasta

Game Pie (from the local butchers)

Chicken Goujons (Home made, not that shop bought cack)

A selection of relishes, dips, chutneys and dressings

Pat?

Sparkling Ros? Wine

Whichever one they vote for, he/ she will very likely have businesses worth millions; drive expensive Jags; drink Chardonnay. Power to the people brothers. All men are equal; it's just that some are more equal than others.

You were doing fine until the sparkling rose! Wine for people who don't like wine.

I agree to a point, whilst it should never be consumed with an evening meal, I find it acceptable to quaff it on hot summer days at picnics, provided it is suitably chilled of course. I would of course never drink such a thing in a restaurant

It's the b?stard child of Red & White.

It's like bisexuality.

White or Red...no mauling inbetween!

I thought better of you, CWP!

There is a barbeque outside the cafe in Moss Bank Park which was adequate for the needs of my lot.
