Season Ticket Online

Featured Replies

Seen many comments on here about the patheticness of BWFC marketing department trying to sell season tickets to fans.

Now I got my renewal form through the post a while back but only jus got round to attempting it online.

Firstly, I put in my mates Client Reference number and his surname to renew his at the same time. When clicking 'Proceed', nothing happened so tried again. So thought I would try to just get mine and then get his seperately. So I clicked add to basket, nothing happened. Tried shopping basket - nothing there.

Anybody else tried to get theirs online? Any problems?

I had the same problem. Gave up and did it by post

I know it sounds stupid, but in previous years, ordering online has always run along side when the ticket office was open. So you had order between 9 till 5 or whenever its open these days on weekdays. This therefore does defeat the main object of buying online i know.

With a fully functioning online system, you wouldn't really need a ticket office. The FA sell most of their tickets for England games online (via Ticketmaster). It ain't that difficult, you can cobble together an online store from free software in a matter of hours.

The BWFC system was done at rock bottom cost by an idiot, probably an attempt by Gareth Moores or someone equally as clueless to save money. It actually has the opposite effect but they are too stupid to see that.

I didn't say anything about the ticket office, they didn't design the online system.

Its frustrating, BWFC don't go about things properly with trying to retain/attain fans. I will ring them tomorrow and mention this problem to which I guess they already know of. Cheers

got mine online friday it was ok then :good:

if we are passing mesages into the club could you tell them not tying jussi into a long term deal is the work of an absolute mongalong.

if you are trying to sell more season tickets than last year it does make sense to let two top players like jussin and TBH wlak out of the door unless you are also going to annouce some major incoming players as well, no disrespect to the ones that have come in but they are not the same class as those that have left or are runoured to be going.

Fooking hell - dyslexia AND impatience. Last time I heard, our war chest was still pretty much intact. I have no doubt that bigger, better and classier signings will follow. I am pleased with the 'workmanlike' signings we have already made and curious to know which players we are tracking.

Show some patience man ;)

I suppose that like SA, Little Sammy Lee's priority isn't selling tickets but winning matches and he'll be gearing up towards that. With a team possibly disintegrating, a new untested manager, no mention of their being real money to spend and no links with players of the highest quality; does it make sense to be having a season ticket discount cut-off date in June?

There's time to extend the deadline yet. They have done every year so far. In fact, last year the deadline was mid to late July so they've at least another three weeks to add on yet.

Worked fine for me on Sunday.

so lets imagine it is the annual ska festival in erinsborough, you have the chance to buy tickets for the event but the organisers can only tell you who wont be playing.

will that mean that there will be more demand than if they annouced a top class line up ?

i have no problem with the fact we have nt plunged into the market but i do not like the idea of players like jussi leaving.

Ian, if you were a real supporter instead of a post Euro 96 out of town glory hunter then you'd buy a season ticket if Coco the F?ckin Clown (complete with size 28 boots and floppy hands) was in goal.

surely more people would by tickets if that was the case perhaps thats the long term goal of all these septics buying english clubs.

Dwayne: 90 minutes is up billy-bob and it's still tied at zero all

Billy-Bob: ok dwayne time to send in the clowns!

See!

I've said it for years. Folk need to think long term.

Play the game with two balls on the pitch and give centre backs big sticks.

Add in the odd lesbian side show and they'll be coming back in their thousands.

I don't have a problem with any player leaving who doesn't want to be part of us. Fook em. He is a very good keeper but there are better.

Ok, sorted the problem with the website:

It doesn't like Firefox but does like Internet Explorer. However, won't accept card details now and locked me out because I've done too many retries and not given be a helpdesk number. Losing patience....

my point is that the club is in the business of selling season tickets.

letting good players go and giving no indication that we are after better will not help ticket sales.

i would nt even mind a bit of bullshit from the club, all we seem to hear is negative stuff.

add ont he fact the clubs name is in the mud again over bungs, you can see more reasons for people not to renew.

i thought you all went to the erinsborough ska festival ?

I do get your point. Just a little negative at this stage of the close season. More like what I'd expect from the likes of TonyCee or YW. Don't turn to the dark side.

Come mid August, I fully expect another new face or two and maybe hold something back for later. Who knows? It just seems a little premature to be painting such a black picture. We all know that if we started the season with 3 wins the sales would rocket up.
