July 13, 200719 yr again, as mccann he looked extremely competant at left back, although he wasnt really put under any real pressure defensively. should definiately give garnder something to thing about though. also, i am not sure if he is left or right footed? get him a right back sammy! no matter what people think of hunts ability, the guys a total prick and was deservedly sent off!

July 13, 200719 yr Author although i dont know enough about the player say if he can definalty player on either side, my point was that if hes equally both footed then he'd be worth a bash at right back.
July 13, 200719 yr luke young from charlton i'm sure we can offer say ?2.5million for a quick! young! decent! english right back.
July 13, 200719 yr although i dont know enough about the player say if he can definalty player on either side, my point was that if hes equally both footed then he'd be worth a bash at right back. Samuel is quite left footed. He almost always opts to turn to use his left foot. Hunt was a bit unlucky to be sent off in that he wasn't facing the player, I am not sure if he actually caught him and the Brazilian did a good impression of the death of King Arthur. He didn't play badly, but then I think that his natural position is as a covering central defender. He is actually quite good at marking space. Baa, baa go the Hunt mocking flock. So I hope that we sign a right footed defender to cover right back and centre back which was basically Ben Haim's very effective role for the club and will be for Chelsea. We need to be well stocked up on defenders for the UEFA Cup.

Contrary doesn't always mean clever. Central defender? He can't head a ball for shit, and he is poor positionally. Now quit it, for crying out loud.

July 13, 200719 yr Hoyte would be a very good signing. With the lad Sagna signing his chances are going to be even more limited at Arsenal. Still we'll wait and see.....
July 13, 200719 yr justin hoyte fact nailed on itk Surely not? Why would he leave Arsenal when he's been getting games?
July 13, 200719 yr Surely not? Why would he leave Arsenal when he's been getting games? Eboue and Sagna ahead of him............ I would like to see either Hoyte or Young come to Bolton, as both are fairly decent, and better than we already have
July 13, 200719 yr I think Young is a good steady player, we could do worse Would prefer Hoyte One thing is for sure, we need competition in that position. Hunt isn't as bad as folk make out but he's not had a challenger for ages.
July 13, 200719 yr i would rather have Hoyte than Young although i rate them both. i think the wages both players will be asking for may be a stumbling block, unless the board are willing to tweak and change the wage structure. just a thought like
July 13, 200719 yr uke youngfrom charlton i'm sure we can offer say ?2.5million for a quick! young! decent! english right back. nah, he's older than you think that one they just luke young that's all
