Chemistry's far harder. If you "get" Physics & Maths, then they're easy subjects. But if you don't get what they're all about, they're not easy.

Well done.

Is Sports Studies learning who won the cup in 1934 and who won Wimbledon in 1965.

Or is it a new name for PE

George, I always thought that "A-levels" cost an extra ?20

Yeh sorry that first post was a bit shit...

But thats what you get from drinking from 12 till 7 or something...

Ah well I Deserved it. I think?

Dropping Further Maths for Year 13/Upper 6th. So that leaves me with a brilliant chance of getting 3 A's which will be amazing. :)

Thanks to those that have said well done and the like :)

And what job will Maths and Sports Science get me in the future? Don't know to be fair. But It will get me on the Uni course I want to do... Maths with Sports Science. And where will that get me? Dunno. Hopefully the chance of being a Maths/PE teahcer. I hope :)

congrats by the way!

do you have to do key skills or general studies or anything else pants?

  • Author

Aye General Studies.

Got a C in that as well.

But no-one is bothered about it...

Just the school because they get extra funding for making everyone do it or some political crap.

But yeh just didnt really bother with it because its not going to get me anywhere as Uni's take no notice of it.

And thank you my dear :)

I got a C in general studies, cant remember it that well now. but I remember that people found they struggled on the papers that they did subjects in (like I did english language and got a poor mark on my english paper for general studies) as people were being too technical. it was a waste of time anyway.

one of the questions was about the change in nuclear families, and someone wrote an answer on the simpsons!!

good luck for your second year! don't get complacent because you got good scores this time round, keep working on them!

How quick do you sober up????????????????????

Congrats, but it does seem your striving for something more, hence the bracketed excuse after each grade. A B's a B at the end of the day ain't it? Also concur that chemistry is a far harder subject at A/S / A level up until under-graduate. Think quantam physics at post-grad will be a pinch harder. ;)

Did he mean at 12 o'clock midday to 7pm binge??? Amateur! I thought he meant 12 o'clock while 7am day after, then we could maybe overlook the complacency of the Queens'.

Do you still get marks for writing your name at the top of the paper?

:p

Good results them Rich.

I did A level Physics and I regretted it for years. Failed it and ended up at some mongy poly rather than a proper uni.

I assume you are doing Maths with mechanics to blend in with the Physics or do they no longer split Maths into Mechanics and Stats?

As for further Maths - are you mad!! Doing that subject is a sign of being pretty bright!

Plus there is the added bonus that you'll get an extra star for being able to add up the happy meals without the use of your fingers

A levels are a piece of piss nowadays.
