...anyone suggesting otherwise is on a wind-up or completely clueless.

Yes as clueless as the time when Olaf the Hairy, high chief of all the vikings, was just about to lead his men into a great and important war and accidentally ordered 80,000 battle helmets with the horns on the inside.

I never thought Bolton fans could moan as much as Spurs fans.

81% of fans don't want him out (yet) - so let's get behind the lil man.

Nay lad - the fourth :p

We're in the stickiest situation since Sticky the Stick Insect got stuck on a sticky bun.

He's had 5 games actually Alf and he has managed 1 point from them.

As you consider yourself to be superior, what is the minimum number of games that a manager should be given before a decision can be made one way or the other?

And what is the minimum number of points he must have from those games to avoid the sack?

And he didn't change anything in the first two games, just carried on allardyce's style and tactics. In my eyes thats 3 competive games, two of which we have conceded goals from defelections, have attacked well for large periods of all three games and have had a bit of a mare at the back, he sorts the back four out and everyone will be licking his arse.

It would be marvellous if life were that simple - make a few excuses for your cock-ups, magically eradicate your problems, and then everyone laps it up.

Unfortunately, it's not.

wouldn't like to put a figure on either, suffice to say that the time to sack him is when we are clearly on a downward spiral to relegation.that time is NOT now

I vote for 'don't sack him' that would be crazy.

This is a difficult time to take charge of Bolton for any manager, experienced or not. We were the best team against Fulham and 2nd best against Newcastle and Pompey. CHILL OUT.

There will be games when we are 2nd best and get the 3 points of course.

He is heading in the right direction and hasn't integrated some talented players into the team yet.

I want an experienced manager who has kept a medium sized or small club in the Premier League so i voted sack him.

lee's the man without a doubt, keep the faith boyz, things will get better.

WTF??????

WTF??????

It's his first post, it may improve. Though the E in gravy and Z at the end of boy (as in 'in da hood') is making me doubt that very much.

True, but the fact that the name "laughing gravy" comes from an excellent Laurel and Hardy film gives me hope.

I've not even bothered reading through this thread.

Who wants him out now? Eh? Eh? :unknw:

COME ON YOU WHITE MEN!!

I know it's in bad form to quote yourself.

But this little fella is growing on me. With a few glitches we've played the best football I've seen since the new year.

To be fair, most of those people who voted Lee Out probably always thought he wasn't the right man for the job from the off. One performance isn't going to change their minds is it now?

Probably not. It might have made them reflect on the previous 3 games though and maybe realise there was some awfully bad luck involved and a settling in period for new players and a new system ws required. It may not change their minds completely but they may be starting to think they were slightly hasty?

My sentiments exactly :good:
