So, out of 11 votes, it's 1 for out now!

It's still only 3 games. (I wish I had 10p for everytime one of us on here has said that btw.)

Hope this vote isn't going to be rigged again.

Why?

Its ragging meaningless either way. The board wont be sacking anyone off an online poll! Its begginning to grind me down some of this now.

Apologies for being a bit blunt like.

Having been out of the UK until yesterday and not having seen a ball kicked I voted "out".

How much time do we give him? It just looks a bit aimless, need a strong personality who can impose his will on the place.

So......

Youve not seen us play, nor been in the UK.

Right...

So where are you getting your opinion? Tabloids??? On here???

Save me Jebus! Your perfect material for being a scum fan.

It's too early. far too early.

Even if the results didn't improve in the next 3/4 games, just a recognition that changes are needed to the tactics and a tightening up at the back would buy him more time in my book.

But more of the same accompanied by bad results and we have to have a serious think.

it"ll be reet :yahoo:

I will know for sure after ive seen saturdays teamsheet. If he doesnt spot what needs to change he never will.

Ah the fickle "what's for tea" brigade eh?

Sacking him at this stage would be the worst decision ever made in the history of the world x10

I want an experienced manager who has kept a medium sized or small club in the Premier League so i voted sack him.

Who would that be then?

Assuming Martin O'Neill doesn't fancy it,Paul Jewell would be my top choice.Kept Wigan up with money and kept Bradford up without much money.

Martin O'Neill is a ludicrous suggestion. Paul Jewell was 90 minutes away from taking Wigan back down last season and was then carted off for a long lie down to recover from the stress. Glad you're not running the club.

For me the next two home games are crucial - As for now, I voted give him more time.

COME ON YOU WHITES :yahoo:

Anyone know how long Jewell's sabbatical is lasting?

He's clearly a man his word looking at this, how refreshing! Fair play to him. Punditry looks like a piece of piss next to managing in the PL. Plus, his head office is in a nice area of Dubai!

Sammy wouldn't have been my choice of manager. Nothing against the fella I just think that it would be tough job for an experienced man to take on after Allardyce years. Anyway he got the job and that's that.

LSL has my backing and I'll send him my toe nails if he's still in the job in May.

Lee wasn't my ideal choice either

but

1) neither was other Sam at the time

2) who else was there

Can't believe there's folk mentioning Jewell and Warnock. If (and it's a big if) LSL fails and falls on his sword, we have to be thinking bigger than those two failures FFS.

No it would not.

In any business, the hardest thing is to admit you have made a mistake and act upon it.

If Gartside and his chums are having any doubts about LSL the worst thing they can do (in the history of the world x10  ) is not act upon it and leave LSL and his inexperienced helpers in charge to lead us towards relegation.

He certainly needs a few more games, but if we still look a shambles in a month I would like a new manager.

BUT

I don't have a clue who that could be. I wouldn't want Jewell or Warnock. We'd need a strong manager who the players who respect, which probably means we would have to take a punt on someone like Paul Ince!

give him time. cause like six weeks and allardyce could need employment.

early days, early days =D>

there would have been doubts about anybody we appointed, just as there were doubts about Allardyce when he came.

to sack a manager after 3 games would be ludicrous and anyone suggesting otherwise is on a wind-up or completely clueless.

He's had 3 months, admittedly only 5 games, but it's still a long time to try to do something about stopping the rot we saw through 2007. What has he done, signed lots of midfielders, but at the back where we were obviously struggling, we've got Jlloyd and O'Brien, while TBH & Faye leave. There are no signs that he has a clue at present, if there were then I'd give him time, sadly I fear the worst for the nest two games..
