Spider Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Right, The price of travelling independently has defeated me (Gutted but tell my 7 month old boy who apparently needs food, toys, clothes etc..) so its looking like the TV - HOWEVER, it appears not to be on the box so I may yet end up on the Monarch 1 dayer. Question is - am I wrong and is it being broadcast anywhere? PS. Casino - cheers for all your help, appreciate the offer.
YATESY Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Still nowt: http://www.liveonsat.com/foot_uefa_cup_tot...p;end_yyyy=2007 We are one of only 7 ties to be without coverage.

no balls Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 i cant believe the club are missing the opportunity for a quick quid- how much does it cost for a giant screen with a live feed? surely there would be sufficient demand to warrant this??? Why would there be when there's only a handful of us actually going and we never fill the ground when we're actually playing there? I can see BWFCs point not arranging it. "Yeh, let's sort out a big screen, get beer, staff in etc etc", Then Thursday night 6 chavs and 9 pensioners turn up!
Carlos Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Can one of the Maco folk record the game onto DVD?
Guest squidgy66 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Also nicked of the Macedonian site (assuming it is the same Burnie): Burnie Player Join Date: 05 2007 Teams: Rabotnicki Kometal and Andorra Posts: 410 Its amazing that you can watch PL team for only 150 Denars. Btw, its doubtful that MTV will show live, most likely they will send the full 90 min with start 22.00 right after the game. But if all tickets are sold at thursday morning or thursday afternoon then Rabotnicki bord will most likely give MTV green lights for Live broadcast. (report) There you have it. Hangs by thread. One's thing for certain, if that is the case there is going to be no live feeds internationally. And Burnie how dare you post on your own forum first!

Casino Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 you've never had to pay for a 2 hour live feed from darkest macedonia, have ya?
yardbones Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 You'd think it would be a good one for Channel M now that they're broadcasting to Bolton on terrestrial TV. If they want to give Bolton folk something to tune their sets in for I can think of no better way. Can't be much more expensive than a double page spread in the Journal.
YATESY Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 You'd think it would be a good one for Channel M now that they're broadcasting to Bolton on terrestrial TV. Where is that then? Is it a retune on Freeview job?
Guest squidgy66 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Where is that then? Is it a retune on Freeview job? Just an ever so slight hint of desperation in that last post mate
yardbones Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I retuned an old portable that doesn't take a Freeview box. Just fiddled about with the channel tuner until I picked it up.
Casino Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 he does know the m is manchester, not macedonia?

Guest squidgy66 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 From having a nose on Jumbo's site, it appears that this may not be televised due to greed on the part of the Rabotnicki board. It appears that they saw the opportunity to rake a load of cash in and asked for too much for the TV rights. In then end they were told where to go and got a fraction of what they asked and it looks as though this may have resulted in it not being televised live. That just makes me angry for the fans who can't make it
fruitbat69 Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I think it is a joke and absolute disgrace that this game is not televised. Yet the club are providing it via wanderers ways with a fee. It is like 1 step forward and 2 back. They announce cheap tickets for the home leg and I will be there yet they screw fans for more money for subscribing to something we don't want to do. Bet the home leg will be televised which is no good as I will be there. Good luck to those who are going and enjoy.

You may well to be able to listen to it from the BBC website if you're out of the area. 3. It probably won't be worth listening to
YATESY Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Now one of only TWO games to be without coverage tonight. Our Macedonian friends have really burnt their bridges on this one! A club asks for too much money to have the game screened and ends up with nowt. Anyhow, we can all enjoy Jack on GMR - I just hope he can concentrate on the game rather than giving endless updates of scores from elsewhere!?
YATESY Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Might be something on here: http://www.ucgwaa.org/rabotnicki-kometal-v...september-2007/ Anybody used this lot before?
Pablo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Got to agree with a few of you really. This game should be live on 5 atleast, instead of ours. Its away, and harder to actually get to the game.
bwfc2003 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 looks like jack dearden then. are there any highlights programmes???

Its away, and harder to actually get to the game. Cost.cost & cost. If the Macedonians (who own the rights to televise the home game) were holding out for ?500k and Everton were asking for (say) ?200k ................
