Listen chaps

We've heard all this before, back in the 14th Century when we were ready to take the holy land from them Islamic infidels, they said 'Don't come here, we're savages and ready for a fight at any opportunity' so what did we do, we hired the Syrians to sort em out

Anyhow, I've been on the blower to 'Mobs R Us' and we've secured a contract with 6,000 Partizan fans so spread the word that there's a peasant punch up at 15.00 on the dot in Yugoslavia park, we'll be merrily shagging your women and drinking your beer. And for your info, they are being paid in new potatoes so don't expect any leniancy

Spread the word that your top boys should stay out of the huwer houses and civilised bars as we'll easily recognise them due to their lack of authentic Armani clothing and Adidas Gazelles

RSB

Thanks for the warning, despite my p?ss take I will take notice

But, during the 80's when football violence was at it's peak in England, getting attacked when playing away from home was normal so the majority of us are used to it, and not only following Bolton but also following England away in backwater places

The only people who will be shocked are the JCL's and perhaps it will be a good experience for them as they'll get a bit more perspective on life

I'm not scared

Do you think we should turn up as Knights Templar or Knights of St John, perhaps we could merge out trips to Munich and Belgrage into one and come as Teutonic Germanic Knights

thanks for the advice. some of us are actually taking this seriously as its for our own saftey and should not be joked about. do they do adult sized pampers in serbia as some of us with a slightly nervous disposition may require them at some point during the trip ?

It's my b'day, I could handle a good night out in Belgrade but I ain't spending it holed up in a hotel bar.

To be honest with you all, if there is such an obvious danger to the safety of travelling fans, RSB shouldn't even be allowed to host the game and it should be moved to somewhere neutral. Prague, for example.

I'll be writing to my Euro MP if there are ANY incidents.

Lads, I wanna tell u a few things u must pay attention during your stay in Belgrade.

1. Crvena Zvezda fans dont care if u r friendly or not. they see u as english and they will want a fight with u. they see u as a ticket to their glory. they will want to have beaten english fans!!

2. Never walk alone. even if u r dressed like a local u can be easily recognized bcoz of your english look. when u walk, walk in group.

3. Dont go far from your hotel. Belgrade is not Skopje, its far from a safe place for visitor fans. I dont want to be misunderstood. Belgrade is open for tourists from everywhere, but bcoz of the Cvezda - Bolton match english tourist r very unwelcome at the moment.

4. On the stadium, behave good and listen what the police tells u to do. in Belgrade, the police force will be your best friend so dont lose that friendship!!!

5. Every hotel has a bar. bars inside the hotels will be the best place for u to have drink and have fun. clubs and bars outside your hotel will be dangerous for u. if r recognized in some bars, Zvezda fans will need only 5-10 to call more people, gather and attack u. if a fight occurs in a bar, its very likely that the police will protect the serbs instead of u.

6. Crvena Zvezda is more bigger and more famous club than Rabotnicki. it has lots of fans, so even if u come in like 5000 Bolton fans they will still be lot more than u.

I opened this topic coz yesterday I had a chat with our member RED_STAR_BELGRADE and he asked me if I could tell u this bcoz he wants u to be safe in his city.

At this point can I just say that RED_STAR_BELGRADE(Alex) is a 'sound' lad.

I met him in Skopje and he was very helpful. We were speaking with him in the bar the day before the match and he nipped home to get a Rabotnicki shirt for us, he didn't want any money for it or swap. I was wearing it with pride at the match.

When the lads off WWays were getting the cash together to pay for Jumbo and ATG to travel to England I was a bit upset that RSB wasn't included because he tried to be helpful on this site before the match in Skopje but his English is not vey good so he left the bulk of it to the other two. He did however give me good advice by PM and answered all my questions.

His knowledge of English hooliganism was a bit worrying :D .......and the 9inch scar going down his left cheek that he picked up in a kafuffle on a Crvena Zvezda match day could be off-putting to some, but I think he is a great lad and I will be meeting up with him over there.
