BOLTON WANDERERS Football Club, Sammy Lee and Frank McParland have agreed to part company by mutual consent.

 

Bolton Wanderers Chairman Phil Gartside states: "This has been a difficult decision for all parties but we have agreed that time is right.

 

"Sammy has played an important role in the Club's recent history. We wish Sammy and Frank well for the future.

 

"Our efforts will now be to look for a replacement manager and to concentrate on the future."

 

The Club will be making no further comment at this moment in time.

Anyone who thinks this is the start of a wonderful new era for BWFC is dreaming.

why the hell has it taken them a week and a half since the last match to come to this. they should have got rid last week when we had more time to have a look for a new manager. lets hust hope Phil takes a bit of a longer look at new managers instead of just throwing the job to someone withing the club ie speed, no offence to speed but we need experience now instead of a new starter manager.

hopefully because we have been lining up a replacement.

 

give them some time to work with players, see them play at arsenal where no points is not a disater and then make some changes.

 

 

if we are sat waiting for a manager after the weekend it is very strange timing.

With Sammy Lee in charge we were heading one way that was relegation i think now IF we get the right appointment and the best out these players as we have seen, we will be nowhere near relegation.... but as i said the big IF!!
