It's a sign of the lack of real education that those of us over, say, 25 had to endure. We went to schools where they taught us proper spelling and how to construct sentences. Meanwhile, you youngsters are taught how to spell 5-syllable words using only 2 letters and a number. We're just jealous of the far superior teaching methods employed these days compared with the dark ages in the 70s, 80s & 90s.

Don't just presume that because I am using abbreiviations as Tomoz is just that and not a word commonly used in text speech that I am an illiterate bit of a kid. I am well over the age of formentioned 25 and have been through the English education system resulting in me working it what could be agued a well respcted profession. Presumption is not always a good thing.

No one ever said it did, I know 4 year olds who can spell, if an adult can't then they should go and learn instead of nobbing about on sites like this.

 

For me, I'm English, I'm proud of that, of everything my country has achieved and what it stands for (except for it's immigration policies and the PC brigade obviously). We gave English to the world, it's the international language of business, you can get by anywhere in the world with a bit of the Queen's.

 

Lazy chavscum who can't be bothered to use our proud language, despite being born and raised here and it being their first language, should be packed off to the third world. They are a national embarrassment. Rant over.
