As for offloading him January, i'm inclined to agree with you Mounts, we need him there for familiarity if nothing else. If his performances don't pick up in the latter part of the season then we probably should get rid as his heart will likely be with Fat Spud Head and Newcastle come then anyway.

sorry but his heart will not be with newcastle he was here before allardyce somewhere down the ranks and he also stated that he couldn't see a reason for any player to leave bolton to go with allardyce up to the north east, he is a better player than many on here give him stick for, he is a good captain, he finger points i know but he keeps the players together whilst on the pitch and when he is captain the players don't seem to lose hope in winning the game
