Train from Malaga to Madrid, 50 euros day after return. 2hours 20 mins. Hotel or hostal in Madrid, 40 euros per night. Worth thinking about as an alternate to there and back in a day or for an extra day.

Benalmadena is a favorite haunt of ours, we go three times a year. As for Puerto Banus, its a distance away from Malaga and is expensive. If its a cheap n cheerful week, then Benal is the place. You may well meet up with an ex pat also. I have friends there who have got the info for me. When I quoted ?387, that was for both the wife and I.

Flights from Manchester to Malaga on Wed 19th and returning the following Wednesday are currently ?82 each. A hotel in Benal costs only around ?150 for a couple with half board. Add another ?80 for travelling to Madrid, not bad for aweek in the sun.

went benalmadena when i was 12 with me ma and da literally a week after they decided to get divorced. WORST HOLIDAY EVER!!!!! Ive never seen so many drinks gettin thrown over people. even I was wishing id stayed in sunny sunny bolton.

 

If you can find reason for an argument over crazy golf or karaoke (Like goin on holiday with the duckworths i know)after 21 years of marriage then it literally is time to call it a day. And they did. Thank fcuk!!!!!
