Couldn't agree more. Dean Windass aside, none of the names mentioned are exactly proven Premiership goalscorers. If it was upto me I'd shell out ?1million on Ricardo Fuller from Stoke, and save the rest for Summer. Fuller always looks dangerous to me, he's also big and powerful and pretty quick. He'd suit us down to the ground.

So in the short term, Davies has to go back through the middle IMO with 2 from Stelios, Wilhelmsson, Braaten on Sunday. Unless anybody else is fit, or a change of formation.

His goal scoring record speaks for it self! 22 goals in 34 games this season! I know it isn't the best of leagues but it's still a pretty good goal ratio!
