Reading this is so funny, some people really don't have a clue!. Anyone on here backing this campaign? I would like to know why people think Gartside is such a terrible person after he helped turn the club around, just look at Luton to see where we could be

Does this campaign not realise that if Gartside was removed, nothing will change, look at the board of directors they have virtually been the same since I began watching the club 35 years ago, the chairman is just the figure head.

What it fails to point out is that he gave FSA almost cart? bl?nch* to do whatever and take however long as he needs to turn Bolton into a Premiership team. None of the fickle minded crap he has since suffered at Newcastle where they want success but want it yesterday.

 

Note: Putting accents over words makes it sound a little bit French, don't you think?

There's a phrase about ?15m, but only ?7m to spend, the rest to E Davies, that has been used on here

Like I said on another thread, PG has done a good job for the club ............ as far as we can see. Promotion to the Prem, staying in the Prem, signing world-quality players, League Cup final, qualifying for Europe.

HOWEVER ..... IF the club's debt has risen to around ?45m, as some say, and he's put the club in hock despite what he's said about safeguarding the club's financal future, then he'll turn out to have done a f*ck awful job that we'll suffer from for years to come.

I don't know the financial facts, so I'll reserve my judgement until they're known.

Gareth Moores or the girls in the commercial department don't get credit for the teams results,so i don't see why Gartside should.

I don't know the financial aspects, but I would guess that if we went down due to the board not backing Lee with real transfer money, and that our debt has indeed risen, we would be in serious peril from the banks we borrowed money from, as it would be based on us staying in the prem. THen I would have a serious issue regarding his record

Gartside & this board have created the environment/climate for success. They gave Rioch some money and we have moved forward since.

 

They overspent at the Reebok but have managed the finances as well as could be expected since, at the same time allowing FSA to do his stuff.

 

Of course, they also recruited Sam!

 

They have also brought in E Davies, who has been able to stabilise finances.

 

Thre have been plenty of mistakes, but credit where credit's due IMO.
