I dont think the players knew what position they was supposed to be playing .... with regards to this signing why the fcuk we spending ?5 Million on a right back ?

But you'd think adequate full-backs would cost less than ?5m when we need good centre-backs, a creative midfielder & striker(s). Nothing we can do except wait till 1st Feb and see what Megson (and ED/PG) come up with.
george Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 We have to sign players who are good enough for the Premier League.We've signed mainly shite over the last year.If they cost ?5 million,that's what we have to spend. Other clubs in the PL pay ?5 million for players,and we get the big Sky cheque like every one else. I think adequate full backs are harder to get than central defenders.

Although didn't Gudni himself come here as a fullback?
