Never seen that statue but it's a cracker. One of the great sports photographs is this one of Tom Finney;

Heres a response to an email I sent the sculptor:

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your email and your kind words.

With regard to your inquiry about the cost of statue of Nat Lofthouse - The cost of statues will of course vary depending on the size, complexity of the pose and also the size of plinth. Depending on where it is going to be positioned you may need to allow a bit more to cover ground work for the plinth.

The statue of Brian Clough will be 8ft tall from feet to head and cast in bronze. The Brian Clough statue fund has raised ?70,000 for the work. A statue of this size will take approximately 5 months to model and a further 3 months for the foundry to cast in bronze.

I hope this will help. If there is any further information that you need please do not hesitate to ask. If you would like to have a chat on the phone my number is 01264 337***

Best wishes Les Johnson

I've never really understood the Nat Bashers meself <_<

They listened about a singing section, would be awesome if the club would get behind this scheme for an absolute gent and a man who has dedicated his whole life to Bolton Wanderers Football Club. Cant see it too be honest, we live in HOPE

Yes.

He and McBain looked upon a large proportion of our fanbase in the 80's who helped keep the club going as scum.
