Sorry but I'd say the congestion charge has been his great success. So much so that other major cities are looking at adopting similar policies. Love the extra tax on Chelsea Tractors.

thats the best part, at what point between the suburbs and tarquin and jemimas school does denise cross muddy fields and rough rocky terain?

Work hard enough and you might be able to afford one one day.

I know ticks me right off, I drop jr off at nusery and can't get a parking space because someone is transporting a 6 month old in a 4x4!!! WHY, you tit? Are you a farmer? Do you live off the land?? or do you own a new build on an estate? Have you bought this car because you don't want to buy an actualy family car as you feel you are still a cool single man looking for hot chicks in your Beamer? You are not, you are the same as the rest of us married, covered in sick and reading Dora the Explorer on a Friday night.

But not driving an 8 year old Punto.

Love the extra tax on Chelsea Tractors.

Like most socialists, i bet you'd have one if you had the dosh

i do have the dosh and chose a small car as thats all i needed.

I'm guessing smiff's owns a proper 4x4 and uses it to visit muddy sites, lug equipment from one site to another?

however it's the school run X5, Touareg, XC90 brigade that get me, surely a mini, polo etc are just as adequate at carrying the massive load that is you and your 2.4 children those 4 miles from your home to school?

any kid beyond primary school age should get the bus or walk to school.

I really hate being told what i should or shouldn't drive...ie get a polo rather than an x5.

Whose to say my carbon footprint is 1/2 as much as the polo driver....because of other greener activities i do?

Not that I have an X5

Wouldn't lower myself to something so common.

My point is have you bought a car to suit your needs or to show everyone how rich you are /how much debt you're in.

i just view it as vehicular bling.

Thats a daft argument...if you have the money you want some comfort, style etc...you ain't going to buy a Diahatsu shoebox are you.

I take it you dress to your needs and wear a loincloth and jesus sandles when you go out on the pull as no one takes a blind bit of notice of what you wear as its your personality what matters.

no i wear jeans and t-shirts that i find comfy, i don't buy stupidly over priced 'designer' label clothes to use those to impress people.

same with my car i drive a new suzuki swift nowt flashy but not a daihatsu shoe box neither.

Like most socialists, i bet you'd have one if you had the dosh

We do, trampus.

I bought one of these last month.....black X5 3.0 SD......had it loaded with every available extra and beige nappa.

I believe in spending my hard earned money on anything I choose. I am glad to say the car winds up the loonies who have swallowed the fairy tale that man made CO2 emissions are causing the weather to warm rather than the earths natural cycle.

Those who believe in the politics of envy also get wound up for some strange reason and would no doubt ban them if they could get away with it.

It drives like a beauty in either standard or sports mode and the adaptive drive is also the business. The top of the range audio system will upload and play anything on my ipod at the touch of a button on the steering wheel or a voice command.

The soft close doors, reversing camera, heated seats, electic sunroof and keyless entry add rather splendid finishing touches.

If Crawley, Spencer or whites man want a look it will be parked on the Asda car park at the bok on Saturday Tea time.

Tee hee hee

I think its about time they started widening parking spaces in such places even if it means making car parks bigger and losing a bit more green space.

You only have to mow it, or worse still put cows on it which are single handedly increasing CO2 emisisons by enormous emounts.

Tarmac, its the future.

BMW's - pah! Bet you wear a baseball cap as well!

Livingstone got in because of the majority, not in spite of it.

That's how it works.

No, he didn't.

He got in because more people voted for him than other/s.

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/news/articles/2005-7533.html

Only 37% turned out last time.

RedKen got 55% x 37% = 20.35% of the electorall roll = not a majority.

Do you often read the Pink News?

And whose fault was it that the other 63% didn't vote?
