Fancy Dress "party"

Featured Replies

I've been invited to a friends "40th" birthday bash this evening, anyway, she has decided it ought to be a Fancy Dress occasion. With the theme being Elvis or Madonna. Now I have said I am not oging in Fancy Dress, as I would rather pull my own eyelashes out than get dressed up.

Am I just being a miserable old fcuker, or is fancy dress really "fun" - as people keep telling me?

My bird had a fancy dress party for her 30th a few weeks back,

i was not looking forward to it one bit.

Once you have had a few beers you will forget you look like a knob,

and have a good nite. I went as Fred Flintstone by the way. Go on knock yerself out. =D>

One of the best (& cheapest) I ever saw was a bloke I know who let his 5 o'clock shadow grow; got his old raincoat on and had his missus sew a cheap triangle of fur to a pair of flesh coloured grundies. Big, kilt type safety pin through a sausage and pinned it on - went as a flasher. Brought the feckin house down. Won a bottle of Glenfiddich for the best costume when some daft fookers had spent a fortune hiring Austin Powers get ups etc.

go along with a king edward on your knob

ie. go as a dick-tater!

coats on

Went to a "mood" party once.

John and Sally went dressed in Green- Green for the jealousy.

Mark and Kate turned up dressed in Red - Red for the passion that they shared for wild parties (and each other!),

Anita arrived on her own dressed in Blue - Blue signifying her depression at not bringing a date to the party

Then I turned up with my Indian mate. With some fruit and a bowl of custard.

"What the hell" exclaimed our host, taken aback, "This here is a mood party fella's I think you?ve got the wrong idea"

"Nah mate" I said, "we are dressed in accordance with our moods"

Rajiv piped up "Smiley here is f**king in dis pear and I am f**king dis custard!!!"

Now where is the Wways cloakroom!

Just make sure no-one can recognise you in that pointy bra - or are you thinking of the leotard & roller skates look?
