Hi guys

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the site was changed some months ago so we all now have to log in on every visit. No probs with that, but after logging on I seem to be endlessly being asked to log on time after time even when turning pages in threads. Tis a tad frustrating when typing a post pressing submit only to be told not only do I have to log in again but copy my post, re open the thread, topic, reply and paste and send again.

Any thoughts on my settings etc?

Cheers

I only have to log in when I occasionally delete forms, cookies, passwords and history. I think it's the cookies which allow WW to see they've been here before. I kind of "WanderersWays were 'ere" bit of graphiti on your computer. If your cookie settings don't allow the cookie to stay then you will need to log in every time.

I know balls all about computers so this, my understanding, may be boll?cks.

thanks guys but my setting has always been "accept all cookies"

Its not the initial logging in thats the problem, its that I am constantly getting logged out and having to log in several times per visit.

are you logging on from a works laptop? Because it uses a vpn from outside, it's like different network connection wether you're in the office or out..

Once i'm logged in, that's it for the session until i log in from the opposite place

aye its from the works laptop, though I am not using the vpn connection when it happens as I am at work, then the internet connection is via the cabled network. Sure you are on the right track though as as memory serves it only started happening when they set my vpn up so I could log in to work from home

Yea! Like that's gonna happen! You spend too much time on here to allow work to get in the way!
