Channel 4 tonight,well just after midnight 00.05am

Also, forgot to mention, Ting Tings album. Sh1t hot.

Quite like 'This is an emergency' by Pigeon Detectives. Mind you, their first album was better IMO.

Not heard Fratellis, imagine that to be same as PD.

New music, pah, Dion sh?ts all over them.

Fratellis new one really isnt that good. 1st album is much much better.

Puressence are great, they've actually been going since early 90's and met on the way to a Stone Roses gig. My mates been trying to get me to watch them for the last 3 years but I keep missing them.

I got into 'em in the late 90's when they released Only Forever - it's a cracking album.

THey never really got anywhere, but Clint Boon mentioned on t'wireless a few weeks ago that they're currently ripping up trees in America, however unlikely that is...

As mentioned previously, the Ting Tings album is a decent listen at the mo'.

I bought Vampire Weekend's album last week on the back on Oxford Comma and I have to say I was disappointed - it's not a shocker but not great.

Oh and whilst we're at it, the worst album I've bought in the last year by a country mile is the Wombats - what a load of wank.

It was only a matter of time until some pretentious arsewipe with a false sense of superiority arrived to slag off someone elses musical preferences. You must know your stuff if you say coldplay are crap! That goes COMPLETELY against popular opinion! What a rebel!

wwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

sticks and stones...

I'm not a coldplay fan myself, but I bet you're completely wrong. They'll sell millions.

They sold 125,000 last week, there's 60 million people in the country. You said the popular opinion was that they weren't shit, so far 0.25% of the population agree.

Carlos - that a new one by Gedge?

Aye, Palisades is glorious. They are playing the Academy in December.

I agree with the meaning of the post and fully agree that Coldplay are not worth a w@nk, but that 60million population includes everybody.. some 2 year old child aint gonna wander down to the local HMV and buy it are they.. maybe the target population is more like 30 million people.

All my mates loved their first single, India.

I just don't get Coldplay at all. Nothing against them really, just find it bland. Although hats off to featuring the Reebok on a video though.

Re-listening to the reissues of Pavement's early classic albums. Genius......

I agree, 0.5% of the target population, as defined by Ashey, have bought the album.

MGMT have been highly recommended to me too, but everytime I try downloading them, something goes wrong.

Seen Puressence a couple of times I think, there's an obscure b-side called "London in the Rain" which is one of my all time top tunes.

All my mates loved their first single, India.

'India' was a good 4 years into their career.

'Petrol Skin EP' from '92 is one of the pride-and-joys of my vinyl collection.

Luckily caught them supporting Kingmaker at Manc. Boardwalk at the time.

Them were the days!

A bit of Death Cab For Cutie

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip - awesome!

Weezer - The Red Album - beyond awesome!

Sunday lie in music for me: Conya Doss - Still.

Weezer - The Red Album - beyond awesome!
