August 10, 200817 yr We will see how long Nolan lasts with this new 'Respect' ruling! He moaned at the ref for everything last season!
August 11, 200817 yr Just to say, those tables that apparently show who benefits the most from dodgy decisions are speculative bollocks at best. For example..... We're drawing 1-1 with Chelsea. They get a dodgy penalty Lampard scores. 2-1. Chelsea shut up shop and win 2-1. Now, the table would put it down as 1-1 draw. When really, theres nothing to suggest that Chelsea wouldn't or couldn't have gone and scored again had they any need too.
August 11, 200817 yr Just to say, those tables that apparently show who benefits the most from dodgy decisions are speculative bollocks at best. which is probably why only numpties take any notice of them
August 11, 200817 yr What tosh. Ok some decisions are difficult but time and time again the tv replays show the ref to have had a perfect view of an incident from a few yards away and still do not give the right decision. So they can't have it both ways they are either incompetent or corrupt!! And as for the players making mistakes, well that is competitive sport, it requires a degree of skill otherwise we all would do it!! Comparing that to the referee is childish as the referee isn't there to be skillfull or creative just make a judgement against a set of pre-defined rules, and they can't even do that very well!!!. As an anology it would be like comparing a racing driver to a traffic policeman, there is no comparison and it is a very weak argument. The only way is to have video replays, let the idiots worry about throwings etc and take the match defining decisons away from them. I do not give a flying f"ck if thee games don't finish till 5.15 as long as the right result has been reached as there is nothing worse than the match to have been decided by incompetent refereeing. give that man a medal spot on
August 11, 200817 yr Like Enzo said, a few red cards dotted about for gobbing off and they'd soon learn. They've hashed it already anyway, it quite simply should have been no questioning of the referee unless you are the captain. It's not difficult. No questioning at all, shut your f?cking mouth or have a card. But they've come up with some fudge which means the ref will mither the captain all the time now. Adding to the general level of on-field debate about decisions he's already taken and won't be changing anyway. Just why are they so afraid of clamping down on it?
August 17, 200817 yr refereees and the big 4 2 the rest nil week 1 penalty for chelsea identical one for pompey not given # possible pen for newcastle not given
August 18, 200817 yr refereees and the big 4 2 the rest nil week 1penalty for chelsea identical one for pompey not given # possible pen for newcastle not given Was that the tackle on guttirez out side the box? or the penalty that could've gone Manyoos way that wasn't given?
September 28, 200817 yr The only way is to have video replays, let the idiots worry about throwings etc and take the match defining decisons away from them. I do not give a flying f"ck if the games don't finish till 5.15 as long as the right result has been reached as there is nothing worse than the match to have been decided by incompetent refereeing. Respect campaign, what a load of bollox, Styles in my humble opinion is corrupt and a cheat. But while idiots like him are refereeing the introduction of TV replays will surely have to happen, which can only be a good thing for a team like ours! You changed your mind yet TylerDurden?? September 28, 200817 yr Respect campaign, what a load of bollox, Styles is corrupt and a cheat. What a load of old bollox, he is neither. Inept yes, but a cheat and corrupt, no Unless you have evidence that proves somebody is either corrupt or a cheat, then you really shouldn't be posting such drivel on a public forum, otherwise you make yourself look like a dick

Inept yes, but a cheat and corrupt, no Unless you have evidence that proves somebody is either corrupt or a cheat, then you really shouldn't be posting such drivel on a public forum, otherwise you make yourself look like a dick God help us if that decision was just 'inept'. A multi billion pound business where the product is determined by low paid 'inept' employee's decisions??? It beggars belief. NB. Low-paid in relation to the rest of the staff in that industry. September 28, 200817 yr God help us if that decision was just 'inept'. A multi billion pound business where the product is determined by low paid 'inept' employee's decisions??? It beggars belief. NB. Low-paid in relation to the rest of the staff in that industry. SO are you happy then to think he is currupt then, as opposed to just bad at his job? (by the way, for some of the decisions he's made, I think he ought to be "demoted" or whatever they do) , I wouldn't accuse him of being corrunpt though
September 28, 200817 yr SO are you happy then to think he is currupt then, as opposed to just bad at his job? (by the way, for some of the decisions he's made, I think he ought to be "demoted" or whatever they do) , I wouldn't accuse him of being corrunpt though So at what point do the outrageously questionable decisions once catalogued move from vocational 'ineptness' to something more serious?? So yes something more is going on with Styles, what it is who knows?, but hopefully in the fullness of time we may find out. Surely you have to accept that a decsion that bad cannot be down to a bad day at the office?
September 28, 200817 yr I just think he's like many other English referees/linesmen in that he doesn't fully understand the game & we do not see them become accountable for their actions other than missing a week. How many times must Styles make a major mistake before he is demoted/sacked?
September 28, 200817 yr He had ronaldo for thefirst goal the corrupt red ginger. And he looks like a nonce.
September 28, 200817 yr So at what point do the outrageously questionable decisions once catalogued move from vocational 'ineptness' to something more serious?? So yes something more is going on with Styles, what it is who knows?, but hopefully in the fullness of time we may find out. Surely you have to accept that a decsion that bad cannot be down to a bad day at the office? now im not saying styles is corrupt. but what makes this country an different to italy or other countries were refs are bought.
September 28, 200817 yr wait till the season starts and see how many mistakes benefit the big 4,wait and see howow the big 4 get away without showing respect, cant wait for the season to start now . perhaps we should start a a thread were we can highlight their mistakes ,and see who it benefits, like riley and the number of penalties given to the scum . anybody keeping count
September 28, 200817 yr Knight of the realm whisky face has advised Stylsey 'he still owes us 4 more' If he wants to retain his Premier League status I'm sure he'll oblige. Why does 'incompetance' benefit the big boys constantly?
September 28, 200817 yr I just think he's like many other English referees/linesmen in that he doesn't fully understand the game That's it for me. They are officious little tw?ts too... but I can't put it any better than you did, they simply don't know the game
September 29, 200817 yr I just think he's like many other English referees/linesmen in that he doesn't fully understand the game That's the kind of bollocks that gets wheeled out in the press when players are sent of for "accidently" catching someone with a raised arm, or nigh on crippling someone with a tackle that was "mistimed" rather than malicious. If he can't see when somebody has been fouled and when somebody hasn't he shouldn't be doing the job at all. It's got nothing to do with him not understanding the game. He either can't see or he's a cheat.
September 29, 200817 yr utd have never lost when styles has been ref fact what about the 2005 FA Cup Final?
September 29, 200817 yr what about the 2005 FA Cup Final? Come on mate....you should know the rules by now. Facts are not allowed to spoil a good rant or conspiracy theory.....End of!
