If they had been told to put one in then yes it is PC pandering, but they've chosen to put one in to encourage Muslim fans to attend the matches as their attendances are low.

 

if they made all the women dress in burkhas etc that would be a bad thing but the provision of a prayer room is just that providing a facility if people want to use it.
