Left twice early meself, Barnsley away 94ish, 3-0 down, unable to string two passes together.

And the Tranmere Semi, 3-0 down, and looking like we couldn't give a flying.

Spurs away in the quarter final of the league cup about 5 or 6 years ago , left at half time. I think we (well our reserves) were 4-0 down by then. Luckily I was living in Enfield so was home & tucked up in bed by 10.

The reason why they leave before the final whistle is to get off the car park before the queues begin. I know from past experience when we used to park on there. We would always miss the last 4 mins in order to get off the car park. Staying till the final whistle saw us otherwise stuck on there till quarter to six, not good. As log as folk park on there and it remains a one way in and out there will always be folk leaving early. If anyone can remember, this didn`t happen at Burnden. When we left Burnden after the final whistle I was always home for just after 5 pm, and Im from Atherton. Leaving the Reebok is an absolute nightmare.

Changing the subject a bit whats the latest youve ever got in the ground Mine was Everton 2-2 first season back in prem. Me and Browny had got side tracked in the Bromilow Arms and got in the ground about the 81st minute leathered. I think we got led through the hotel into the east stand. We had a goal disallowed and then equalised in the last minute so it was well worth the visit. Carried on the sess and went to a bonfire with MG and sloth (remember that night MG ?) OH HAPPY DAYS

Sadly the housing crunch has slowed that down, Jones homes are building another exit from the Middlebrook but they've slowed right down with their development.

 

The road layout at the ricoh shows how it should be done, about 6 lanes in both directions.
