Todays News of the World on the follow up save after that shot hit the underside of his bar

"Ishmael Miller followed up and comically hit the ball straight at Bolton keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen who had no idea what was going on"

your opinion...your entitled to it...

great save to tip aound the post... and up quick to star jump in front of miller to stop a certain goal....

however i also liked his continued kicking to the opposition keeper then remenstrating with anyone within ear shot....

still doesn't deny the fact that he was wiiling to drop us at the first opportunity for a bigger and better pay day.....

oh that was untill he realised that nobody worth any salt wanted him...

DICKHEAD,it was a great save but what do you expect from the NOTW.

bollocks is that percy

we hadn't made him an offer til the end of the season

he had a mega money offer from turkey, which he obviously didn't accept

city and rovers were likely destinations if we went down, but their interest waned - as it would - when his back was shagged

he didn't refuse any offers we made, so on this occasion, you're wrong

pleased to know you'd turn down a nice fat rise in favour of your current employer

ps should you not be int no name stroking your beard?

That is completley irrelevant now and most of the rest of our team would do the same if they had a chance. Al Habsi did well for ten weeks or so but you cant jump in front of somebody who has been doing it very well for ten years.

all hearsay that cassie...and you should know better...you berate people on here for it...

he didn't fancy turkey cause they would be staring at his blonde missus...FACT, ITK,

Never in Doubt in my mind - Jussi is our Number One !

he needs to stop gobbing off at his defence until he can learn to kick in a straight ragging line to someone in a white shirt. great shot stopper but woeful distribution

I do agree his distribution is a bit ropey, i think a lot of keepers would struggle with our lot because theres not many options its either Davies or just a hoof and hope.

not many outfield players neve mind goalkeepers can find a team mate with a 50 or 60yrd pass.

al habsi wouldn't have let it hit the crossbar!

would of caught it outright!! :pardon:

We are lucky to have 2 v good goalies

We are lucky to have 2 v good goalies

But with the same agent

Aye, cracking saves but he'll have a bad game eventaully and few'll remember the saves and every man and his dog'll be calling for him to be out! Mistakes are remembered more than than great saves unfortunately.

oh f?ck off

rasiak won a f?ckin header at white hart lane last season and that got the biggest cheer of the day, does that make him a good striker?????

don't think anybody said it does

but invent it if you like

your point is?

Jussi is a great keeper and his matchwinning saves like Saturday have been far more familiar than the ones he has lost us games with.

Fair play to AAH who filled in well for Jussi and was unfortunate to start the season on the bench, but despite his kicking (which is still poor), he is a better keeper IMHO.

??? Rasiak winning a header didn't affect the scoreboard did it? Jussis saves on Saturday definitely did. No comparison then.

For the record, if we could only have kept one keeper from last season, I would have voted fert t'other feller but you can't deny one of Saturdays saves was fecking outstanding. Goal written all over it from the moment it left Morrisons foot.

He is a premiership keeper. I didnt see any saves that he made on Saturday that were more than you'd expect. He may be able to stop a shot but is kicking and distribution is nothing short of f**king woeful.

Also did anyone happen to see the spurs keepers throwing yesterday??

as somebody said earlier, theres not a player in the club can hit accurate 60 yard passes

and the save after the ball hit the bar was what you'd expect?

bollocks

and morrison didn't expect him to save the one in the first half

Not as good as Jim McDonagh's!

Then I would say your expectations are too high or you didn't see the same as myself and many others.

I often read these boards after a game and wonder whether a lot of the posters saw the same game as me. So perhaps I didnt. I saw a very frustrating and negative/dull/bad performance against a newly promoted team, who weren't any better than stoke. What game did you go to?
